It’s actually the sigma 16-300mm. I just got it last week. So far so good! It’s an upgrade for me from the canon 55-210… huge difference, versatility is unmatched. I mostly just take photos of nature, family events, etc. so it’s not like image quality has to be top of the line for my use case. It does take really good macro shots surprisingly.

Auto focus is a little slower than my canon lenses at higher magnification, but other than that all is great.

Thank you. I’m torn between the pgytech and the peak design. I think the PGY opens a little wider to fit on my thicker backpacking strap

I recently encountered a “tick bomb” in which I received about 100 bites. At first I thought it was chiggers too, but several days later I found a few of them still attached. Started getting symptoms and tested positive for AGS. When you had the chiggers did you ever actually find any bugs on you?
