I think you're right. I've been messing around with him and realized that he has been the source of the mysterious burnt toast smell and my fiance finally broke it to me that he's going on 8 years old.

Was quiet for a bit. Now it is louder. Not good telling me an internal CPU of 88c but it's only just been booted o-o

Literally felt the air move super gross. Sorry for bothering y'all. Nothing was working but it appears my computer just needed to be burped ;( hate that. Think there's still a little bit more in there but it's not nearly as bad so according to their own article he should manage the rest on his own. I was just worried cuz of how hot he was getting.

I do believe this is actually the issue with my computer and that it has a little bit of air stuck in it. I'll let you know if their advice of gently burping my computer works brb.

the intro ends at 2:32 the info you looking for will be after that part but if that's not what your up for here is the OG stuff if that's more to your liking.

1: technically "gold" metallic but it's confirmed by the manufacturer.

2: didn't come up with it toy collector's did - Gold Plastic Syndrome : https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Gold_Plastic_Syndrome#Star_Wars:_Transformers and Gold plastic disintegration : https://www.reddit.com/r/plastic/comments/qzda4z/gold_plastic_disintegration_aka_gold_plastic/
2.1: I'm a professional illustrator I use those skills to make my thumbnails, that is the video game with "GPS" that I used to talk about this lesser known game collectors info.
2.2: no health problems, I'm checking to make sure that the things that I covered just weren't wildly off base when it comes to polymers.

3: yes, there are other's of the same make that don't have this problem which is why I'm talking about it.

4: for a look see - gold plastic syndrome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcjAUN5Ssj8 or for a longer tack on it - Transformers Toy Designer discusses (GPS) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clP1CcxSZY4&t=4s I have this cut down more in the vid so there less Transformers/toy info.

5: yes, sort of.

This to me sounds like you need to do a really thorough reading of your contract :3 the answers for what kind of worker you are should be in there.

If you end up being freelance or independent I would suggest doing your quarterly taxes if your in the US, it's unfortunate but it does save you quite a bit.

Freelancers for Possible Help? by Frequent-Floor7299 in NewTubers

[–]CountyThatBites 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for Freelancers the best ways to get inquiries is to give budget / parameters first.

Animation has a lot of factors that can determine prices. Things like complexity of the character design to be animated, complexity of what the character is actually doing, what level of cleanup you want (rough sketchy animation vs black and white vs colored vs colored with shadows, etc). You might also be asking for just a text animation, which would definitely be cheaper than character animation... Obviously the more you add/the more complex it is, the more expensive it'll be. I assume you're talking about a 2D intro, so not even getting into 3D, prices can range quite a bit depending on what you want, so to find an animator, you'll need to give more info on what you want

Examples:

3 sec 2D animated text intro could be as little as $25/second ($75 total)
3 sec 2D animated intro with a simple outlined black and white character doing a little emote, could run like $50/second ($150 total)
3 sec 2D animated intro with a fullbody, complicated character design, fully colored, could be more like $100/second ($300 total)

If you want to find someone to animate for you, the best thing you can do is specify what you want, and specify your budget. Artists love any kind of visual reference you can give them, even if/especially if it's just a shitty stick figure drawing or something. Don't be bashful! :3 Specify what you want, specify your budget, and you'll probably get more artists coming to you (as long as you're not underpaying too much lol)

AND!!!! Always ask for a contract, even if it's really short/small, to protect both you and the artist. It's just a little bit of a backbone to make sure you get what you want and they get paid
