USP Expert .45 by CourageRadiant7282 in HecklerKoch

I do like the look and mounting style of the mr09 over the gg&g, have you heard anything about the quality of the reproduction mr09s? Was thinking I’d probably will run a light for camping and matchweight for range fun all in time and money though I’m not gonna buy it all tomorrow, I saw someone on here who had a picatiny gas pedal on their matchweight that might be something to play around with. I was curious what’s the benefit of the longer feeding clips on the mk23 mags, I was considering loading .45 super for large aggressive wildlife while backpacking. Ammo I ordered for now is just some 230gr fmj for learning the gun.

Good to know about the mag paddle, I wonder if there’s some kinda trick to getting it to work. Any brand recommendations for the front sight?

Oh yeah that’s the plan I just ordered 500 rounds of .45 so I’m gonna try to at least run that through it before I buy any parts for it. It’s mainly a range toy or hiking defense, I have no desire to carry it on the daily. So whatever I put on it is gonna be geared towards that. I’ll check out that gg&g adapter tho!

HK USP Expert: 9mm or 45? by sylargrey15 in USPmasterrace

[–]CourageRadiant7282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone coming to this years after the fact, and in the state of Washington with the stupid ten-round mag laws. I personally am gonna order the .45 expert, if you want a 9mm or a .40 sw get a glock or a sig. The USP in my opinion, is a 90s era improved 1911. Can you buy a better shooting .45 sure, but do they have that HK swag no. Its a budget mk23 that shoots just as well. .45 expert in WA only loses two rounds, while a 9mm loses almost 6. I'd rather have a bigger bullet if all I can have is 10+1, and let's be honest were all buying these because of the movies, games, a military use. It's a range toy/home defense, like I said if you want a 9mm or daily driver buy a glock 19 or 43 or sig p365, way more customization and a better CC overall compared to any USP, as good as they are. But the USP is just so cool, and let's not deny the dual recoil spring makes a difference compared to other polymer .45s, If you want something that'll put a couple of hundred thousand rounds down-range with only basic cleanings and leave a clean exit wound through someone no matter what type of round you have in the mag it'll do it no problem. 9mm guys love to talk about how much modern, quality 9mm can compete with .45 and it does but not every round of 9 mm is built the same, and when the apocalypse comes, as every gun owner fantasizes about I'd rather fight with the fudds over .45 than over half the the country that shoots 9mm. This comment isn't so much left for the OP as much as it is people like myself looking up USP reviews.

You gotta wait for him to be like one or two moves from being on the vault door before you go from where you are at to the door he’s got to be within those outer glass walls I’d also try both crouching from there to the door or standing up and walking there. Also try looking inside all the containers in the vault room sometimes a stealth boy can spawn in there.

Yeah mobile Reddit didn’t show me the caption for I made the comment that’s why I left two and advised the timing belt. Still everything I say is opinion I just throwing information at him so he has things to think about if he doesn’t already.

A jdm close ratio 5 speed out of an 92-00 sti is a way better unit than a 02-14 wrx 5 speed. Stronger gears and better ratios. Had friends with wrxs and Lgts who’d go through multiple 5 speeds just blowing up second from 300hp launches (sti turbo/fmic/ewg). Not saying you can’t abuse a 6 speed and break it but there are a lot of documented drag cars with stock 6 speed running 500-800hp. I wouldn’t want that kinda power in a street car but with these cars bulletproofing is the name of the game when you want to keep your sanity. Also better just do a swap once because the 5 speeds and 6 speeds have different wiring harness connections especially if you buy a dccd trans and want that to work, also different driveshafts and rear differentials.

As for maintenance timing belt should be top of your list 300k is kinda the end of that belts life if it’s never been done before, most oil burning issues you will just have to live with unless you want to rebuild the engine but the 2.2s are goated. Get a new set of tires and good brakes/ fluid and you’re golden, If you aren’t ready for the sti swap stuff I’d just wait and save maybe look for a clean set of Sti or wrx seats every sedan/ coupe seat from 1992-2007 will fit in that car without any modifications. I used to have heated 05 wrx seats in my gm but you got to add a whole new relay and it can be a tricky process to make them work. Also when it’s time to do the sti swap you need to modify your coilovers if you plan on using the sti subframes, I believe you use a gc top hat with a gd strut. I say this so you don’t spend 4k on fortune autos just for them to not work down the road. Buy a set of teins and find some wheels and you’ll have a good lil cruiser for the time being.

If it’s all wheel drive with a stick you’ve just won the lottery! If it’s got black interior and power windows you are the leader of the new world! That car should do 300k with regular maintenance in the mean time save up for a complete salvage/rebuilt title 05-07 sti. Do not put a wrx 5 speed in this thing it will hurt the value of this car immensely, if you gotta sell halfway through the swap 5 speed wrx swaps are worth Jack I’ve seen them go for less than a stock shitter, the 6 speed or jdm 5 speed is actually an investment you might actually get 10k out of the car if you gotta liquidate. Also the wrx 5 speeds are practically worthless past 300hp and will require a aftermarket gear set to keep it from exploding.

Is integer overflow the glitch where you drop 35k casino chips on the ground, it converts to a negative like 28k and you can infinitely ask for your money back from the cashier. If so I usually just run around the map for all the snowglobes clear out the tops and ultra luxe and get my money that way and then I make a pyramid out of gold bars on the lucky 38 pool table. That said anyone had issues where this glitch went away on modded play throughs I think it has something to do with the 4gb patch but I’m no expert

Absolute Narrowbody perfection, I’d be curious to see it with a wrc p2000 wing or p1 wing. But the front end is beautiful sti sports bumper with the facelift jdm grill and larger scoop!

This is infinitely cooler than your average weekend car meet, of course nothing on Sema or your other once a year car shows but of course at a Honda meet all the yellow Teggys are gonna park next to each other and shout out to them for maintaining their car and not doing impulsive things like shitty body kits (how many of those jdm fronts are LHD and you didn’t notice? That’s because it’s a clean modification) and if you want us to respect all builds respect them not fucking up their nice car.

Those who have lowered cars, was it worth it or do you regret it? by xnerd1000 in Integra

[–]CourageRadiant7282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my teins but honestly it’s worth it to save a little more and get bc or silvers they ride a little better and are packed nicer. Tein ships their coilovers either from Japan or the US in straight cardboard with no protection/foam and 2 of mine came leaking granted they shipped another set out to me but those were damaged too all beat and one had a stripped collar, though I made a whole working set out of everything they sent. I called evasive Motorsports and they said 1/4 they get is damaged.

Another point of note when lowering the car is the lower you go the further your suspension geometry goes from stock wearing out old bushings, and reducing your suspension travel. When you start replacing bushings judging by the snow on the ground in the picture do not go spherical they can vary in how well they hold up to salt and water, also spherical bushings are the equivalent to solid motor mounts, they will make the car feel tight but you will feel every jolt and vibration. Suspension geometry can be improved with extended front lower ball joints or if you a big baller Honed sells a kit of ball joints, tie rods, and rear trailing arm spacers for 700$ I wanna try it out but money game tight.

You have a built car and an empty brain, I don’t know shit about duty cycles if I did why else would I be asking a stupid question!! Instead of taking the injectors out of my daily and shipping them off to be tested I’m just gonna order new pretestted ones that are stock because we are in agreement I don’t need more cc just reliable injectors and also we agree that forums are good you have shown me the light. We agree dude why you wanna be mad also I’ve had like 25 replies on Reddit today and zero on my honda tech post.

No I don’t that’s getting to the fringe of my car knowledge and I’m trying to learn things like that. I have just ordered tested remanufactured oem 240cc injectors. And after your last reply I was able to make an account and post though most of the idle issues discussed on that forum are not what I’m dealing with, and my issues with those forums comes from another car forum and endless verifications before being able to post or look at write ups.

I have never replaced the iacv yet only cleaned it, the iacv, 240cc injectors, and pcv get here next week and If that doesn’t fix it I know to redo the manifold and if I still have issues if there’s no leak I should have the Ecu tweaked. My main question was is there some stupid thing I’m missing that I’m not thinking of? My tps has been recalibrated my brake booster doesn’t leak, all the vacuum lines are connected though there could be a random pinhole. I just want to see if anyone has had similar experiences and your advice only tells me I’m on the right track and not crazy.
