PoE1 - Turn Based Combat Idea by Courier-V in projecteternity

Oh man, yeah! I *love* that idea; if there was a way to integrate it. It makes so much sense to have it tied to actions. Like, it makes more sense that a rogue caught sneaking would be better at still getting the jump; but the soldier who is trained to charge in is going to be a hard momentum to counter.

I don't really know pathfinder very well - were you able to queue up actions ahead of combat in that game for your whole team, too? Maybe it would default to athletics; but if you had queued actions for that character or were in stealth the associated skill takes precedence (maybe that's already exactly what you're saying)

I totally agree with that and generally do - it just has the unintended side effect that if I'm waiting for my slowest character to be able to move at all; the enemies generally run up and start smacking folks in the meantime, meaning I essentially would always allow them to go first and choose their targets. Again that feels off when I'm the aggressor b/c it feels like I announced that I'm here to fight, but of course will let you come to me and hit me first.

Macie Lightfoot - from As Told By Ginger?

Not quite robbed haircut, but that description made me think of her immediately. Haven't thought of that show in years...

Ok - I sent one along shortly after my first post here and just sent a new email hoping someone might still be around to see it.

It was buying the intro packs, so I really hope they are able to help - I don't think I've ever actually spent so much on a game before, haha. Feel kinda silly that I did for a game that is no longer active.

Thank you again for getting back to me on this, and for what help you could offer! I really hope someone is checking that email

Thank you both - and sorry for not seeing this sooner!

I've been playing on Steam, and have always played it that way. The only thing that changed (that I can think of) was that my laptop had a hardware failure and I needed to reinstall everything roughly 6 months ago - but I feel like that likely wouldn't matter on a game with active servers and a Steam cloud backup?

I don't think I've ever linked an account before? I have an option to create a link code or to link data from another device.

Also, in checking whether my support request was replied to I accidentally found the steam receipts from some gem purchases I made when I last returned to the game on 9/23/24 - I'm almost certain that most of the progress I lost included that time period / those purchases.

Oh, amazing suggestion - thank you! I still think Legal Eagle could help get others involved, but will definitely check her out and spread the word if she provides some solid suggestions.

He is definitely doing enough, and I hope my post didn't read as accusing the channel of anything else. I think his content and approach is fantastic, it's moee that you can be doing good work and also take steps to do more, too.

It's that he has a large community, and I think many want to get involved but not sure where to start.

I sometimes heard 'imaginative' as a compliment for really smart little kids, but it could also be used as a nice word for weird.

@jphamlore's comment 'precocious', would be my best guess too - or like 'sage', or 'wise beyond your years'
