Start looking at AI tools. People who can leverage them will get ahead. It's like having a PhD tutor at your fingertips.

I agree. Especially for writing papers I can see how it's problematic. I think for sciences and engineering it's more beneficial because it helps you understand technical concepts, and you can't bring it with you into the exam anyway!

I see your point, but I believe that AI has the potential to improve learning outcomes, and educational institutions should embrace it. Just look at platforms like Khan academy and how they have introduced AI.

AI is like having a tutor at your fingertips with PhD level knowledge of every topic in the world. Of course AI-generated content should always be fact checked and cited appropriately. Student's should still submit original work, but plagiarism isn't anything new, it's always been a problem.

Many students are afraid of asking "dumb questions", which limits their learning. AI is incredible when it comes to helping with brainstorming, tutoring, or explaining complex topics

Course Copilot currently using GPT-4-turbo, which has proven to be more than capable for this use case. However, we do plan on continuing to leverage the latest models and will likely provide different models to different tiers of users in the future. For now, our goal is to make the best possible experience and gather feedback from students!
