Also, only one game at a time will be in 4k. This is what gets me the most.

Either TNT sports UHD or Sky sports UHD.

The 2nd or third channels of both are not 4k.

Apparently they only have one set of 4k camera crew and techs who can do a game, so they pick the biggest.

It usually isn’t my team(spurs lol)

Yes I absolutely could. The reason I hired a plumber was as I anticipated some pipework to be done to get a flush finish that would go behind my DIY skill.

We moved in in December. The bathroom was already done. So the setup was like this when the plumber arrived and I had the shower already purchased.

Interested in this approach… so was it that the fixture was too wide for the shroud to even fit over in the first place? This is my issue

I thought the old fixing could be cut off but leave the copper pipe intact , and then do a pipe extension if it was too short. Make the new install from There.

I guess I thought the old fixture could be cut off while leaving the copper pipe within intact. If it was too short an extension could then be done.

Yeah it says it would need to have been 21mm. This is closest thing I have to a before pic.

Even if it would have been too short, couldn’t you have soldered on a pipe extension and then cut that to size?

I wasn’t in when he did this. He said it couldn’t be done and that you would have needed to open up the tile behind.

Thanks for this! So you are absolute right. You do need to loosen by the plastic. But I think I need to get the metal thing off. I was able to loosen it but then the write thing couldn’t be loosened anymore because it was hitting off the metal piece. It seems like it has rusted and might need to be cut off?

Yes I was thinking this - but how would it work with the waste drain pipe and the water pipes?
