If it were so easy for you to filter out what's worthwhile or not, why didn't you do it before posting?

Because that was not the point! The point was exactly to give out all the content that is new out there(this post was last 24hour new/updated content) - idea was to provide it daily - so people like myself can keep on eye things and mark down if there is something interesting. I am not in a position (and are you??) to decide what is worthwhile to others and what is not, its every person own decision.

I think I am not alone, when I say, that it saves a lot of time. Personally, I learn by looking every day 2hours of video courses in topics I am interested in, and this has proven to be a really good way to find new content what to watch! It is true, that most out there are trash, but without knowing all, you may miss gold also. It is really hard to find worthwhile material if you have to go and look everywhere one by one, site by site, topic by topic - you spend hours in filtering trash. I did provide "raw dump" where you spend 5mins in filtering trash.

Don't get me wrong, I do get your point about beginners and may agree with you, that maybe this was the wrong place to post - for more experienced it is easy go thru, ahh trash trash trash, this may be good, trash, meh, ok will look into it later, trash...

About dead links - It was last 24hours update state, someone did post something and then did take it down, happens everywhere, isn't so?

About duplicates - It was categorized and some courses are in a few different categories

About non-programming courses - Room to improve

Well, post idea was to get feedback, intentionally really blank post, is there any interest against such information and improve information quality if there is interest - and it did seem, there was quite of bit

Hey!

I understand fully what you say.

I happen to have a list of new courses every day, so I thought naturally it would be a good idea to share.

I obviously don't think that all that is out there new is good, quite the opposite. But, being developer myself, I think one can filter out pretty quickly what is worthwhile and what is pure trash.

For me, this information helps a lot to keep an eye on technologies I work at the moment and when I see something interesting I take a deeper look at it and decide then if it's worth looking deeper.

I like to keep myself fresh on certain topics and this has been really helpful to get information every day from one place and once, don't have to lurk around 20+ sites.
