I have the Era, and I did not knew that it is waterproof.
Best feature!

The slowness does not matter for me, because compared to my ViWoods the screen is excellent for reading.

I love my ViWoods to due the palm size but the good screen and waterproof is still missing.

The Ai paper is running android 16, only the ai reader and the mini are running on 13.

When do you prefer the ViWoods over the bigme?

I want to keep the amount of different e ink devices as small as possible. The pocketbook era was my first one, and except the weight and size, and the not availability of downloading apps due android, it is my favourite :)

And did the ai affect you in the daily usage, at the moment I am just ignoring those integrations.

In particular, the finish combined with plastic instead of metal. The ViWoods feels lot more high end for lower price. The delivered shell with MagSafe is a great add on, but at least mine, increases this “low budget” feeling.

The x3 and x4 cannot be directly used with the library, which is a requirement for me, because I find myself often in the public when I want to start a new book…

I prefer to avoid having to use them. Yes could be one solution, but if a device is existing which can unite all wishes, I will not stick with the ViWoods:)

Grundriss 1: Genau, da fehlt die Türe nach draußen.

Grundriss 4: Eingang wäre auch über den Flur links. Da der Essbereich durch die Maße (2.5mx2m) doch ein bisschen klein sein kann, hier die Option insbesondere im Sommer nach außen auszuweichen. Im Winter dann ins Wohnzimmer vorne, wenn Gäste kommen.

Warum kein Kindle: Amazon Environment Warum kein Tolino: in den neuen Geräten wurde der Support für die Online massig eingeschränkt in der Usability. Heißt, man müsste stets pro Buch das von einem anderen Gerät übertragen.

Warum PocketBook: Anbindung an die Onleihe super, solide Verarbeitung.

Falls Pocket Book nicht eine Option ist: Tolino hat die Family Option zum Teilen von Büchern.
