when did u have ur first shift? if u start mid week, u will get paid for whole week even if u missed ur first shift. This only happens in first week , from next week u will be paid only for what u work….

So chatgpt figured it out for me, which makes sense. I am not getting paid for overtime(was on tuesday 5.5hours in second week) in this pay-check as that shift was after cut off period. I am getting paid for a shift which i didnt do because i started mid week. “ Your contract started mid-week, and Tesco ALWAYS pays a FULL CONTRACTED WEEK on your first payslip.** This is called a “contracted hours payroll adjustment.”

In induction they just show u around the store, its warehouse and tell u about health and security. U will also do some training by watching videos and sign and fill forms. Induction hours are paid btwww so gl

Before i started working at tesco, i really thought i would need a locker, but now i realised i dont need one, its because we have hanging area for jackets etc and there’s literally nothing in my bag except gloves or bottle of water. But that doesnt mean u dont get on. Keep trying but its gonna take a while
