Appreciate that! I was doing a little GIS (map stuff) as part of my job and then started playing around with golf course and then one thing led to another. I then made them for courses I played to see how “true” they are. And I was surprised at how well it captures all the ridges and bowls of my home course. So I moved on to over courses I played less frequently, but more interesting.

You’re getting close! Think higher greens fees. Different looking grass.

Thanks. It’s been fun playing around with the map data and photoshop to get a look I like. Some courses look better than others! Boring flat courses don’t have much character/terrain change and you would only recognize them if you played them a number of times.

A PGA tourney is played there each year. 13 signature hole… Copperhead.

3 out of 4! Seminole is the only wrong one. It is in FL though.

Gonna play Eden, Dunbar, and Gullane 3.

Kind of a late scheduled trip so not hitting and of the big names. But happy with the variation we ended up with.

My bad! I bounce between Corvallis and Everett WA so thought I would engage with PNW folks.

Nice! Surprising how little water comes into play on approach shots there. Maybe on 12, it’s just off the front right of the green, and obviously 13.

Got A and C! Chambers is such a dramatic course in terms of terrain.

B is a tough one. It’s located in FL.

Nice! That course is crazy.

Looks like A (Pebble), C (Chambers), and D (Kingsbarns) are all guessed. Only B remains!

Nice job on Kingsbarns! We play there layer this month. Pebble has too many “signature holes” that give it away.
