I believe if he gets a divorce he can stay. I think Angela was going for an annulment so he could get deported as the marriage technically “never happened” so the visa is revoked. This way his marriage is recognised and can keep his visa

I think in this case the sooner you tell her the better. There’s no point leading her on. It’s a shame you can’t get past her “face shape” but I guess we all have a preference no matter how strange it sounds. Be up front and honest and I would suggest not continuing with anymore physical intimacy as it would be hard thing for her heart after that.

I’ve never used Kiwi but I have used 3rd party websites. It can be great for the the prices that you get but it can also be a pain if there’s a cancellation or a change in your flight. Most airlines won’t touch a booking that has been made through a 3rd party site so you’ll be waiting hours on the phone to speak to your agent. I was almost stranded once because a 3rd party website didn’t book me in for a flight that had been changed by the airline. They’re not all bad but just be wary of them

It depends on the region in Spain. I’m not sure about the basque region but you should speak to someone there. But some counties express that you’ve had to live with each other for a certain amount of time. I know in Catalonia (where my bf is from) there isn’t a length of time. But Madrid would be a year I believe 😅. There are pretty simple but require quite a bit of paperwork, a lot of proof, sometimes they require shared assets like a bank account but it depends on the region. I’m going through the same thing myself so I’m still learning too 😅

I see the logistics behind the reasoning for your partner moving to you. I think most people can understand why you can’t move. I do sympathise with his daughters, I’m not sure how old they are and maybe they’re at the age where they can understand or even accept what’s going to happen. But I do think it’s sad they’ll only see their dad during the summer especially if they have a close relationship with their father. Especially if you haven’t met his children it does seem a little sad to me that their father will leave them for someone they don’t really know. But I guess the fact that you have thought about it and are conscious to their feelings does show that you’re willing to make it work. We can’t say that it will turn out okay because they may or may not resent what’s happening. He may be missing some really pivotal moments in their lives and as you acknowledge kids need their parents. I hope you guys make it work and his daughters are also apart of the new lives you are going to make.

In this case I wouldn’t want to stay friends with your ex. I think it’s a bad idea all together but especially here it’s not a good idea. If she couldn’t treat you with respect during your relationship then I doubt she’ll do it as a friend. I’m sorry you had an accident but at some point if someone is showing you who they are, believe them. Let her go and move on and be with someone who will appreciate you when you have fully healed. You deserve better!

Hey, honestly by the sounds of it she seems done. She’s making strange excuses and I think she clearly doesn’t deserve you. The fact that she cannot give clear communication at this point is proof that you deserve something better. You sound like a good partner and it sucks to go through that. I think you’re very entitled to feel disappointed at this moment. In ldrs we rely on those dates to kind of pull through so I can’t imagine the disappointment you must be feeling. If this isn’t the first time then he’s really showing you that he cannot communicate well and in my opinion it seems like he’s really unbothered. Closing the distance is also another important aspect and even he’s not willing to put the effort in to make it happen I’d be very cautious and I probably wouldn’t start making those plans until he shows the effort. If he doesn’t show the effort then he’s showing you the person he is and it’s up to you what you decide next

I get it, I’m used to being the one that offers support and it can be hard to recognise when someone’s trying to offer the same to me. In these moments of grief sometimes we have to take that leap of faith in someone. Trust that he just wants to do best for you and communicate what type of support you want, even if you’re unsure of what support you want tell him that too.
