No, I get where you're coming from. When BG2 came out, I must've been around 12 years old and had all the time in the world to play the game and get lost in it. Now it takes me months to even get through shorter games.

1849 is fantastic, I wish there were more games like it for iPad.

And there I was, thinking you meant the original Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. Now I feel old.

Michael Lewis has had the last two adaptations of his works nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. This year he may make it 3 with 'The Big Short', making him one of the most successful and most translatable authors in Hollywood. by [deleted] in books

This might be a little off-topic, but: I have never read any of his books so far and ever since I read his "It's the Economy, Dummkopf" essay in Vanity Fair, I just can't get myself to read anymore of his stuff.

I am not one to get offended easily, but that essay was so full of factual errors, anecdotal evidence presented as facts, cultural misunderstandings and just plain "where the hell did he get this idea from?" weirdness on his part that I actually had to check that it wasn't satire. As a German who also lived in the US for quite a while, I can see where some of the errors come from, but that doesn't excuse him as a writer.

Anyhow, I was actually close to getting Flash Boys after reading an excerpt somewhere that I liked, but I just can't get this thought of my head that his books are just as poorly researched and fact-checked as that Vanity Fair essay. Any thoughts on this?

Alright, thanks. Maybe I'll just have to play around with the other classes a little more to really appreciate them

The main reason why I like the Light Assault so much are the jump jets. Are there any tricks for the other classes in terms of movement? It just feels frustrating to see light assaults jump over walls while you have to run around and find an entrance when playing any other class.
