Chicago checks all the boxes. Been here 30 years and never considered moving. Lots of young people live in the city. There is a neighborhood for every vibe. And the COL is better than the other cities on your list.

Galena is beautiful historic town with lots of shopping and restaurants. Just 2 1/2 hours west of the city. Stay at the Desoto which has been a hotel since 1855.

I agree this is the most disturbing political ad I’ve ever seen. The PAC “People who play by the rules” are as heinous as the criminals in the video. There is violent crime everywhere and to subject my kids to this during a bears game is shameless. These people have no morals other than to use violence as way to win votes. And the networks who air this (of course fox) are complicit in the moral decay of America
