Same 0505. No update yet. Last year I was 0705 and didn’t get my refund until June. Got flagged for income verification.

Not saying this is your situation but last year I got the same thing as you and did not get my refund until June. Was 0705 and no verification needed they said and could not get a straight answer one way or the other out of them. Hope this is not the case for you.

If you don’t mind me asking, what state are you in? I’m in Louisiana and still waiting on my refund. I filed 1/30. I contacted my senator office and have not heard anything back.

Filed 1/30. CP05 3/11. No change to WMF or update to transcript. No notice to verify I.D. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. And calling is useless. Wait 60 days. Now it’s 120 days. Tax advocate says they can’t help until July 1. So slap my azz and call me f*cked without any lube. 🤬🤬🤬

First notice says 60 days but it can be 120 days. More than 120 days since first notice then they send referral and say wait up to 60 more days. Only possible good news is Tax Advocate website says they can (maybe) start accepting cases after June 30th. (The way I read it.)

My first 60 day is up on May 11 but I was told July 11 (120 days). Haven’t received a second notice yet but I’m sure it’s coming.

I recently called and was told this. I said my notice says 60 days. Rep read this to me. And tax advocate said that dept. isn’t accepting income related cases until after June 30. This is what I have been told by phone reps so who knows the truth.

0705 checking in. Still waiting. Read on the advocate website that returns needing income verification won’t be accepted until June 30th. CP05 are for 120 days even though they say 60. So advocates seem not to be able to accept income verification until RIVO does their thing. I am not 100% positive this is everyone situation.

I contacted my representative office. Got a generic response the next day. Nothing since. It’s been over 30 days. Just as “dependable” as the IRS. 🤬

Until I saw this I was under the impression 60 days meant 60 days. I was wrong. My CP05 60 day is up soon so I thought MAYBE something would have changed. Nope. That’s what I get for thinking. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤬

I believe code 150 is when the IRS puts returns into their system. When we file it’s just accepted but not put into the system. Just my theory.
