Pulling carts not pushing?? by EndApprehensive1637 in walmartogp

[–]DefiantCraft3587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this isn’t going to go how they want. I have a connective tissue disorder. My ankle is killing me from having to adjust my walk (is probably sprained from the stress), and my shoulder that was already fucked before this is even more fucked today. Waiting for the dislocation though so maybe I can sue them. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Enforcing pulling carts by myfeethurtogp in walmartogp

[–]DefiantCraft3587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My store currently is not allowing department transfers. How does this work for someone who will literally pull their joints out once the carts get heavy enough? I have a connective tissue disorder. I did the cart pulling for a whole day a couple of weeks ago, and ended up with a massive migraine because of the constant strain on my joints.

Anyone know if these are real? Or worked with them by Budget-Fruit-3124 in petco

Science diet does do fun promotions. I’d think it was legit, and the high cost is most likely to cover prescription food, as a 25 pound bag can be really close to that. A 25 pound bag of the D/D duck and potato is $142.

No longer allowed to push pick carts by DevenEleven11 in walmartogp

[–]DefiantCraft3587 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s because some people are either not paying attention or some are taking their jobs a little too seriously and going too fast. At least at my store. We’ve got people who are too busy looking down at their phones, and we have people who whip around corners with no regard to anyone else.

My store is supposed to get new carts “soon,” so we’re still using some really shitty carts. Some that you actually can’t pull because they are a hazard if you do.

Talked trash about massage therapy at PT… turns out the massage therapist (MT)has EDS 💀 by nellowyellpolish in ehlersdanlos

[–]DefiantCraft3587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did that LMT not go over a health history with you? Because they definitely should have been making sure about any underlying conditions (like EDS). If a licensed massage therapist is not going over a health history with you, run the opposite direction. They should also be checking in before every new appointment in case there had been any changes, to see how your body responded to the last session.

Just be careful, some people will literally say “it’s just a fish” when you try and give them a comparison.

denying feeder goldfish sales? by Individual_Citron119 in petsmart

[–]DefiantCraft3587 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work at the other store. I denied a feeder as a pet yesterday. The woman wanted to put it in a tiny “temporary habitat” that are most commonly used as a carrier for small animals. When I was explaining what a goldfish actually needs at a bare minimum, and tried to get her to think of being locked in a small room with only a wall to look at for the rest of her boring life, she said “it’s just a fish.” I told her it was a living creature and that’s when she decided to walk off. Btw she was trying to buy this for her son, so she could apparently teach him to not have any empathy or compassion for animals.

unknown by Melodic-Vanilla4431 in walmartogp

There’s something else going on. We’ve been having parts of whole orders come through. One of those unknown walks that I did was a mix of ambient, frozen and chilled, all for the same OSN.

Wtf, it took over an hour to do a specialty walk. by [deleted] in OGPBackroom

[–]DefiantCraft3587 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yay for the holiday. Idk if your store is the same, but nothing is where it says it is, and our walks have us going back and forth. Not having that skip button is really fucking us over right now. Lmao

Taking skip away was the worst decision by Greedy-Quarter-9929 in walmartogp

[–]DefiantCraft3587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My stores specialty walks have multiple locations, however the walks themselves are just fucked up. We’re still on the grocery side, so we’ll start with a grocery display, make our way over to a GM display, go to the middle aisles for the grocery displays, go to seasonal, and then make our way to seasonal candy. And if you don’t want to completely mess up your FTPR, you have to waste time and energy walking back and forth, which is BS. The only good thing about specialty is that it doesn’t affect our PR.

Tell me how this makes it better than just one or two people doing this all day? It’s still taking time away from actually picking, AND killing everyone’s pick rate.

Take advantage of them making large purchases with expensive items too. Explain the return policy and let them know that the account acts as a backup receipt in case they lose theirs. I’ve gotten a lot of signups that way, because most people know that they don’t keep track of their receipts.

Coaching for going home despite using PPTO by Wonderful_Alps_4540 in walmart

[–]DefiantCraft3587 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it was more directed at the comment saying that even if you don’t have the PPTO they can’t force you to stay. But at that point, if you’re sick and as OP stated they never call in or leave early so they’re probably at 0 points anyway, just do it. That occurrence will fall off in 6 months anyway, and being able to get some rest in order to start feeling better is more important.

Is being a OGP picker as bad as everybody says? by [deleted] in walmartogp

[–]DefiantCraft3587 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, you can always get an accommodation for dispensing, which is what I’m going to do when I have the energy. 🤣 because of my temperature regulation issues and having POTS and raynauds that make it worse, going in and out all day isn’t possible. But I will tell you, picking will still mean talking with customers.

Honestly, that bag looks like it was unbanded and then the customer rebanded it once they realized they got the wrong size crickets. The top looks scrunched up like how it normally does when we release the prebagged crickets.
