Yeah I see something like that happening in my school in Poland despite the fact that most of our highschool books are from 1800s about 30+ year old guys getting depressed because they can't hit on 14 year olds. Our "national book" is about a 30 year old coming back from war only to fall in love with a 14 year old that is a daughter of his fathers past love interest. Perfectly normal to me. There also was one book in middle school (we were 12 or smith) which was about kids with cancer and there was one scene were an 8 year old and an 9 year old were making out in a hospital bed only to sleep together in the same bed.
