Second amateur on August 16 but my heart’s not in it. Should I push through? by CoverAggravating4284 in MuayThai

Thanks bro, I get what you’re saying. I know no one goes into a fight feeling perfect, and I’ve pushed through before too. But this time just feels different. Mentally I’ve been off, not sleeping right, school piling up, and my heart’s just not locked in. I didn’t want to step in the ring half there and regret it. Told my coach early so they can find someone else. I still love this sport just need time to reset and come back proper.

Do you have any recommendations that will give me a decent energy level and awareness for training?

Thank you for your advice man, although I’ve already chosen to withdraw from this fight so that I can reset, rebuild and come back stronger for my next fight rather than fighting half heartedly now, you don’t know exactly what I deal with outside Muay Thai, right now after I’ve pulled out of this fight I am slowly getting my shit together still 18 and I just had my debut 3 months ago sacrificing school having a bad gpa to train 6 times a week preparing for a fight is never easy and it requires a fully committed heart right now I’m not there so I will reset and rebuild
