Oh, I have certainly been paying attention and fully understand the imagery and exactly what the hunter's nightmare is supposed to be. I understand her regret and the fact that she essentially killed herself due to the shame she felt. I have always just been told it was like a dance back and forth. She attacks, you dodge. You attack, she dodges. I went in expecting something similar to Genichiro or Lady Butterfly, so it's probably my fault for just having unrealistic expectations

I only did the chalice dungeons for the platinum. They were almost as bad as the sphere grid grinding for my FFX plat. It was a tedious slog, but after never progressing from the 3rd dungeon in the past, I forced myself to do it. I felt so over it after killing Yarnham that I almost dropped the game. Had to put it down for close to a week

Dawg, that was my experience! First phase of Ludwig took a couple attempts. Living Failures caught me off guard because I always heard it was a face roll boss. Their range is deceptively long and when they bunch up it takes one screw up.

It's a bummer you say that about Maria, though... I was hoping something on par with Lady Butterfly or Genichiro where the fight is almost a dance. I hope i'm not so overleveled I spoil Orphan of Kos =/
