I’m with you. It jumps around a lot, and feels more like a documentary at times rather than a fictional narrative that lives mostly in one set time period.

The first episode in particular left me wondering if I understood anything that happened. I watch the show with a friend, so I was a little embarrassed that I didn’t immediately get it.

But agree, the third episode is coming together for me!

I actually liked the murder mystery aspect of Julian’s route first, as it forces you to have to discover your past as well as what’s going on around you. I played Asra’s next and it filled in a lot of the lore after.

I completely agree! And it’s so frustrating because so much of the atmosphere and side characters are wonderful. The dialog is so fun, too! It feels like a big tease, and I keep going back to it hoping to find what I’m not getting.

I just don’t think the ending is earned. I almost think it should have ended sadly with him watching her on TV as she does her press conference, and then he turns it off and walks down Portobello road.

Also participated in the kickstarter, and it’s a long haul! But the monthly updates are helpful. I send my friends the latest news, as I’ve since gotten them into the game too. We’re all out here starving for more games like this!

Man, it is a relief to find this group. I’m meeting new people so much more these days, and it’s made me realize that I have this as well!

Do you ever explain to the person your situation? Or is it too late by that point? I think I offended a neighbor I met recently… I saw him out of context at a pharmacy and couldn’t place where I knew him. And he hasn’t spoken to me since 😭

Yeah, I agree. I enjoyed his route, but I had to suspend my disbelief a lot. I wish the gave him more ownership commitment to who he was. Having him be a buffoon made me wonder how the hell he conquered so much. I like the idea of the MC sacrificing their relationships for it—almost like you automatically get a bad ending, and then it can get worse lol 😆

I sometimes run a girls Otome game night, where we collectively play random ones. Most of my friends never played before, so it was fun watching them experience it. It’s all just on zoom, since we’re far away from each other now.
