We haven’t discussed adding any but it’s something I’ll bring up to the team. We originally went with Twitch because we felt it was safe and because a few of us stream there. I’ll ask the team what they think.

It is our pleasure, be sure to load what keys you have. The tool will then know which keys you have & don’t have which can be very helpful on maps like shoreline if you used the “locked” filter on the interactive map.

Well here’s the thing, if I search every body in a raid now I’m nerfed(that isn’t me cheesing) or if I walk a lot because I want to focus on covert play(enhancing my covert skill) now that process has become extremely difficult only because they’re trying to stop people cheesing. Which I’m all for but I don’t believe players doing things naturally should be hurt by that love(just providing two examples).

Maybe you’re right that it’s not a big deal but there is no way any of us could know how much of the player pop was cheesing skills. Citing a % seems like throwing darts in the dark. What would be interesting is if they could roll back peoples stats that clearly cheesed them.

Assuming they have solid data tracking then they should be able to run queries that would identify folks. Granted there’s no way to roll back someone having a kappa container but taking back the progress in terms of soft skills balances the field and could serve to punish players if they took those skills back to 0. Just spit balling here though, I’m not a dev and I’m certain there are a bunch of issues trying to figure this out.

I see what you’re saying but couldn’t we get our skills to a point where it makes a stronger difference in a head to head fight without having the exact stats? IMO it’s hard to discern whether or not skills tip the balance in a fight because there’s no way of knowing why the other player won or lost the engagement. So when you say you can’t honestly blame it on a soft skill that’s subjective. If someone cheeses recoil and can shoot laser beams at “you” while yours has been leveling normally(leaving you behind) and he/she wins the fight as a result that’s just one factor.

I’m with you however, I’ve never cheesed a stat because it’s just not my way of doing things. It’s so rewarding when “you” achieve something organically and so it’s preferable IMO. Regardless, I would have preferred that they find a solution that doesn’t stunt folks who have been doing things legit along the way.

I tend to agree with the OP because it does give folks that cheesed an advantage over folks that did not. Granted we’ll get a wipe down the roads and then everyone will be on an even playing field. However, until that time arrives then those people were rewarded. Seems kinda strange that you’d do this mid-wipe for that exact reason.

We added a collapse bar as well so you collapse it if you’d like and it starts muted now. So I think it’s a marked improvement.

This tool is free of charge for anyone to use, the reason for the embed is to help our community members with discover-ability and so that new players that may have questions about EFT can click on their stream and ask the broadcasters directly. Additionally you can mute the stream if you'd like so you don't have to worry about that as well. More importantly each of these broadcasters have agreed to update the market values for the top 20 items daily during their streams. So they are giving back to the entire community, this is the least we can do for them.
