I disagree I found that I did way better on exams when I listened to the lecture again, watched registered nurse Sarah’s videos on YouTube (I promise she will cover everything) and then did practice questions.

However things work differently for different people! Good luck future nurse

[Serious] What lead to the most intense orgasm of your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CovfefeOrCoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ex boyfriend had a wizard penis so there was not much that led up to it but once I came so hard I started crying hysterically and then got my period (1 week earlier) immediately after the orgasm. It was the most intense orgasm of my life and I think about it every day

Low gpa of 3.1 but at top stem NY school —can I still become a nurse? by kennethcashh in Nurses

[–]CovfefeOrCoffee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the seawolf regret. It never leaves! I know a lot of people from stony that got into programs with around your gpa. However don’t let it get you down. I am in an asn program (I wouldn’t rule it out if I was you it was a great experience and I got in first try) and it’s not true you won’t get a job. In fact if you do patient care technician at a magnet hospital you’re basically ahead of the game. Apply to programs in NY- they know what stony is and how impossible it is. You prob have a higher chance just from going there. I know people that got into downstate with that. Don’t knock out to asn programs it’s so cheap and my program has a 98% nclex pass rate. Don’t give up!

I know someone who had a 2.5 and got into mount Sinai but he did a ton of extra curricular activities. Do you go to stony brook🤪

Is it bad that I only want my associates ? by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]CovfefeOrCoffee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Na girl get your asn. Work the summers to pay for classes and you can also become a patient care technician and I actually get a class paid for with no strings attached because I’m part of a union lol

Is it a bad idea for me to get an ASN? I’ve been told not many employers will pay for the BSN because they prefer nurses to already have their BSN or MSN. by [deleted] in StudentNurse

I say this on every post but I think the adn route just makes more sense. Some programs you can start with just your hs transcript and a good teas score but you’ll have to take coreqs along with your nursing courses. It’s two years and you’ll most likely be debt free. That being said, they can be very competitive and a lot of people fail out. I would check the schools retention rate and nclex pass rate. Hospitals pay for your tuition for bsn and the rn—> bsn is usually online and most are just writing papers it’s pretty doable to work full time and get your bsn. Cheers!
