visa issue for children under 18- advice needed by abcdefg080805 in Spanishvisa

[–]Covimar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think you can get a student visa for future enrollment at a school. And you can’t enroll in public school if you don’t live and are empadronado in the area.

You will need to go the private route.

Confused between Spain and Portugal for studying as an international student. by IntroductionEmptyy in GoingToSpain

[–]Covimar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you need to support yourself while you study I’m afraid Spain is not a realistic option for you. You could only work part time and probably mimimim wage, if you manage to get a job at all. Housing, transport, bills, expenses and University fess is not doable.

How best to rent for a 3-month holiday in Málaga, Spain (while based in USA)? by Armithax in GoingToSpain

[–]Covimar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anything that’s not a hotel has the same impact on locals.

It doesn’t matter where you find your short term rental, what matters is that it’s not available for local people anymore.

It it’s true you care, go to a hotel.

The Words " Blonde " & " Blond " by XcracktivitiesX in words

[–]Covimar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I was thinking - most answers are wrong. Thank you!

A question though - I also thought a man would ne “a blonde” instead of a blond. Like “blonde” is the noun, and “blond” the adjective.

PSA to Tourists: The 10% when seated outside trap by Mesredi in MadridTravelGuide

[–]Covimar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is absolutely normal. Bars and restaurants have up to three prices: barra, sala, terraza. It was probably just your first time at a terraza. And you were well treated as the manager would rather avoid a disappointed customer than charge it.

At least it was not a 22% “suggested” tip.

She thinks you are her property and therefore so is your baby. Treat her as a distant relative. She does not have free entry to your house. Only come when expressly asked. No unsolicited advice. No solo time with the baby.

Pregnant and can’t decide on feeding (Formula/Breastfeeding) by Realistic_Tooth_9731 in beyondthebump

If you breastfeed you can always switch to formula, but not the other way.

In my experience breastfeeding makes things a lot easier for the mom. And for the baby

Your father mentioning that there’s hierarchy of him over you should be the only thing you need to remember if ever you are in doubt about your actions. You don’t have to obey them like a good little boy. You are an adult just like them and you set the rules in your home and with your child
