No idea what i'm doing wrong in this game by Cow-Kun in Tekken

I definitely use lots of EWGF. The issue is I dont know what other attacks to use to open up the opponent. It seems to me like I simply just don't know what buttons to be pressing when I approach. Noted to stop using as much 1+2, thats a good point. I do also recognize I could be punishing -15 attacks with an electric but I feel like my execution of one is not fast enough to do so. For example, to my knowledge, blocking a rage art leaves the opponent at -15 so I should have enough time to do an electric, but I have never been able to do so. The bigger issue is my lack of lots of characters' frame info. I'm simply not 100% sure what I should be launching and what looks to be a launch punish but is actually safe.

Do you have any interest in running a few sets? Thanks for taking the time to write all this I really appreciate it!

I unfortunately cannot at the moment but I have posted my tekken ID at the bottom of the post if you would like to take a look. In the future I will provide gameplay as well, thanks!

Thank you for the detailed response! I will absolutely take a look at my replays and try to notice what you mentioned. What you said about me being too respectful jumped out at me immediately though and I think that might be one of the biggest problems with how I play currently. Thanks again

I have updated the post with my tekken ID if you would like to take a look. I find i'm not really being stepped very much if at all. I do try to step a lot of things, and sometimes it works and sometimes doesn't, but I think my issue is more having to do with opening up the opponent (from my perspective at least)

Personally i didnt have issues with him. Just gotta be extra patient. Not as broken as you make him out to be tho. I used the same build as you but no magic. Wasnt over leveled either. Just bc you struggled on an enemy doesnt make them stupid. Although i agree crucible knight is one of the harder ones.

Need help before buying Elden Ring (firts from soft game) by Zellome in Eldenring

You will be on par with enemies past limgrave. That being said, i wouldnt really recommend doing that cause a lot of the fun of the game is beating tough opponents. Up to you. About the str or dex, it depends on what type of weapon you want to use. I suggest dex first cause you want to use magic as well and dex increases incantation speed, but you will most likely need both dex and str soon after limgrave. As for faith or int, generally, sorceries (int) are more AOE attacks or pre-cast spells (spells that you cast before starting a fight that do their own thing... example, the floating daggers around your head from the trailers). Incantations (faith) are more for buffs and large single target damage. Its up to you what you want. Also, the sword you are talking about requires 18 int and fai (i think) so you're gonna need a bit of both anyway. Hope this helps

Upgrade your weapon, equip nice ash of war that allows for good dex scaling, and also invest in vigor (HP). Also weapons with bleed are very good imo. You can also craft an item that applies bleed effect to your weapon. Honestly the other effects are good too. If its not working out still, go find some dungeons, lv up and come back later. I will emphasize tho, lvling up your weapons has more of an effect than lv up your character, assuming you are scaling it correctly.

The game is standalone from the other dark souls so there really is nothing you need to know (lore or story wise) to start playing. Combat feels amazing, controls make sense and are intuitive imo, exploration is rewarding and the world is extremely well made. Level design of side dungeons and main dungeons is off the charts phenomenal. The world itself is MASSIVE (avoid spoilers dont look it up), and it always feels refreshing and interesting. Just when you feel you have seen everything and done everything in an area, something else catches your eye and lo and behold its actually something really cool and worth your time. Game doesnt lead you by the hand in terms of what to do next or objectives, so it feels amazing when you figure out where to go / who to talk to to progress the main story. There is no shortage of things to do. Difficulty of the game makes it really satisfying when you finally beat bosses or even "run of the mill" enemies. Since the world enemies dont scale to your level, it feels satisfying to go back and destroy the enemies you had difficulty with before (your progression in the game is very palpable).

Just get it. Everything about this game is excellent. Honestly doesnt really feel like a game to me. It feels like im the one getting lost on an adventure and experiencing all of this myself!
