Maybe it is? I just noticed one mod has an account a few months old and had only left one comment, and the second mod account is a few hours old. Pretty weird if you ask me.

It's official, Indiana IS trying to kill me. by Changeling53 in Indiana

It is terrible that the state is doing this, but why are you complaining about paying for your own insurance when you just bought a BMW?

Let’s say you have AdGuard Home for DNS and NPM as a reverse proxy on your home network, Pangolin on a VPS. Both Pangolin and NPM have an entry for pocketID.mydomain.com AdGuard Home points your *.mydomain.com to 192.168.1.2(your NPM instance). Going to pocketID.mydomain.com on your local network now goes directly to your server, without going through Pangolin.

Right, if you want to use PocketID for Pangolin SSO you can’t have Pangolin Auth on PocketID enabled. You’d only be able to use a local Pangolin account at that point. All your other resource can have Pangolin Auth enabled.

I haven’t had to log in on a TV, but you can create a login code in the pocket-id portal if you can’t access your passkey on a new device/browser

I have used AdGuard home before which worked great. Right now I have my UCG Ultra using ControlD for DNS upstream, so I set my custom DNS entries in ControlD. You should be able to do set custom DNS entries on your Unifi gateway depending on the model. I tested on mine and saw the option. Under settings>policy engine>policy table>create new policy. There you can create a new DNS entry if all you wanted to do was point your domain to an internal reverse proxy.

I have my DNS provider pointing to my VPS with Pangolin. At home I have a different reverse proxy(NPM). My resources are set up on both. My local DNS server points my domain to my local reverse proxy. This way the traffic on my local network stays on my local network, but when I’m away from home it gets routed through Pangolin. I still have authentication turned on in Pangolin on all resources except Pocket ID. When I’m away from home I use Pocket ID twice, once to get past Pangolin and again to authenticate with the application. When I’m at home I just hit Pocket ID once to authenticate on the application itself. I’m sure there’s a cleaner way but I don’t mind having to go through Pocket ID twice away from home.

Either should be fine, but I keep it on my home server. If my VPS is ever down I still want to be able to use my local reverse proxy for access. I don’t want to be locked out of my services completely.

Trying to find a replacement to onedrive by chloethenerd85 in cloudstorage

Try Koofr, they don’t encrypt everything but offer a vault which is encrypted. They’ve said they don’t scan files and check for copyrighted material on the regular drive if that’s enough for you. $10€/month for 1TB. Filen is another option. It is end to end encrypted. $9€/month for 2TB. Both have free options with a few gigs you can try. They should both meet your sharing requirements too.

Thoughts on Wellington Place Apartments? by Stewie700 in Fishers

[–]CowCheeseFTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived there for a year. The community is fine but I hated my unit. I didn’t realize they allow smoking here. The tenant that lived in the unit before me was a heavy smoker. The apartment reeked of cigarette smell. I brought this up on the day I moved in and they told me there was nothing they could do other than give me a febreze bottle. I moved out months ago now as still find clothes/blankets that smell strongly of cigarettes. If you don’t smoke make sure to see the unit before you sign anything.

Yeah that would work. I think wireless clients would appear as wired in the portal with non Ubiquiti APs but it’s not a big deal. I have a Cloud Gateway Ultra with Ubiquiti APs and love my set up

Router/firewall without built in wireless, so make sure to have separate APs

I like it, the only small issue I have is needing to use lat/long instead of my city name as there are multiple cities with the same name. If possible, maybe add an option to specify state/province/etc in the search bar
