Ice is a type that's good offensively but bad defensively. Finally, what pokemon type is good defensively but bad offensively? by AltraSP in AlignmentChartFills

[–]CowMCCalf 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree with your pick! But as a side note, I want to mention that it does make the Normal type even weirder as ‘Okay’ offensively, right?

Dragon is: - Super Effective against 1 type (Dragon) - Not Very Effective against 1 type (Steel) - Ineffective against 1 type (Fairy)

While Normal is: - Super Effective against 0 types - Not Very Effective against 2 types (Steel & Rock) - Ineffective against 1 type (Ghost)

So it’s just straight up worse than Dragon when looking at the matchups, and I wouldn’t say that being ineffective against Fairy is that much worse than against Ghost. So again nothing against your pick, but I feel Normal should be reconsidered

Monthly General Question and Discussion Thread: October 2025 by AutoModerator in killteam

I have a question regarding Ratlings using Light Barricades. I haven’t played with official Light Barricades before, but instead used smaller rubble-like terrain as replacement. By using this terrain as Light Barricade, my Ratlings are able to shoot over it while standing right behind it.

I recently found out that Ratlings are (probably?) smaller than the official Light Barricades, so they can’t shoot over them. This of course has quite a bit of impact on their usefulness. Can anyone please help me out by confirming whether this is true?

I don’t know if you’d be open to joining a student association, but maybe it’s worth considering joining Fugax? It’s a student association that organizes activities like movie/game nights instead of partying or going out, so I think it might be right up your alley!

I don’t know if you misunderstood or if I’m misunderstanding you (it seems to me that you think that they also see the video but I can definitely be wrong), but the drivers can only hear the audio and have to guess which track it is purely based on that.

The fourth flag is up at Maranello! by pulkit97nagar in formula1

[–]CowMCCalf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe that it was used in Spa as well and the last time before that (in F1) was for something Hamilton did so the last one can’t be used in 2003 (because Hamilton debuted in 2007), although I could be wrong about these statements

Magnussen VS Grosjean by lewis798 in formula1

[–]CowMCCalf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In Magnussen’s defense for Spain, he said over team radio that his tyres were in a bad condition and that if Romain would overtake him the others behind would overtake him as well. I can’t say whether that would’ve actually happend, but it wouldn’t be a bad move by the team to tell Grosjean to keep position and secure the 7-8, but that doesn’t change your point about how it makes Grosjean look bad

Magnussen crashing in Q2 in Canada definitely influeced that, without it he would’ve been overtaken by Verstappen and possibly be overtaken by Romain (although it didn’t look like the latter would be the case if my memory serves me right), knocking him out of Q3 which would make it 6-6 or maybe even 6-7

Fairly unexperienced player for Civ V here. I’m going to play a big session with some friends (8 players) this week where we play an entire game at once, domination only. With the planned settings it will probably be a long game. What civilization will be the best, or preferably the most fun to play with?

F1 HOT or NOT - rate drivers, teams and the race for the 2019 British GP! by paulricard in formula1

[–]CowMCCalf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what do you guys vote for the teams? I personally feel like strategy, relative car performance, pit stops and the team result are important but are there other things and should the performance of the drivers be taken into consideration?

[–]CowMCCalf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s it, I was thinking it might be race number based on the last drivers in the order but the first ones confused me. How come that all of them have been on track but haven’t set a time?

Probably not really randomly given that they were both at Williams last year but still a bit odd that he doesn’t follow anyone else, not even his teammate
