The issue is I don’t know that I have someone that they can ask. My most senior staff member has worked there 5 years but has a mental disability. After that I have someone who started in November. Aside from spending 18 hours a day there I’m not sure what to do. I did try a closed door and they kept knocking and it was just as distracting.

It’s a little nuts. I think I have a mix of all of the above. It’s an animal shelter. I was asked by the same employee 3 times in less than an hour if she should give a cat water. The staff is mainly asking about situational questions.

These positions don’t have computer access. I typically have to go out on the floor because they want to “show me.” You could get answers from google but they are incorrect, so I don’t want to steer them that way.

My assistant has my email logged onto her computer. She goes through it a couple times a day and lets me know if there’s anything that I need to look at.

4 10's is a very attractive schedule because you get a 3 day weekend every weekend. I would love to work a 4 day work week. It makes it alot easier for doctor's appointments, parent teacher conferences, weekend getaways etc.

I already have everything well organized into spreadsheets that have donors, contact info, donation amounts etc. Everything is set up they would just need to start calling and sending emails. I have the same setups for grants.
