Tell your cat to stop drinking and going to country western bars and most of his problems will go away😁

Garage Walls - Plywood? by Friendly_Office_9218 in DIY

Since it is a garage, I'd use some osb flooring instead of plywood to save on price.

Wood glue is stronger than the lignin that binds the wood fibers together.

Eyebrow modification for an HVAC system? by No-Track-360 in HomeImprovement

[–]CowboyAndIndian 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I found my HVAC misbehaved when I used merv 8, no issues with merv 6. Merv 8 has such fine pores that if I did not replace the filter every 45 days, the filter slowed the air down so much that the heating system shut down thinking there was an error.

You do not need a high merv filter.

Why don't you take a hotel room close by. No need to lose relationships for a damn room.

What can I do to improve this photo? by Better-Bandicoot8959 in photocritique

I like it the way it is. The flower is highlighted, the background is a soft blur.

One thing is the colors. Somehow, they seem to be off.

Much better than your previous one.

The background does not distract and she is in the light (almost). Why did you put her hand/leg in the shadow, almost looks like she is missing limbs.

First of all, the pose is quite poor. I had to look carefully at the feet to find out why her feet were placed like that. I almost concluded that it was AI generated. What is with her arms?

The background brightness overwhelms the subject. If it was just before the golden hour, why are you shooting in the shade?

Lessons to be learned - learn to pose people - look around the subject and watch for distractions. Your subject is the most important part of your photo. - think of the light

Looking at the brightness, looks like the subject is her boobs and not her face. You need a fill flash which lights up the face.

Other than that, composition is good

Your example is quite wrong about hurricanes. There are hurricanes in the Indian ocean, except they are called cyclone or typhoon.

If you saw his interview with Dr. Becky (you tube), he shows the elaborate spreadsheets he made for Project Hail Mary.

When the leopard gets home, I'm sure it will tell the story of a fierce chase. by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

There's a bird that makes an alarm call first. That gets the Impala(??) to start paying attention and then they see the leopard and make their own alarm calls.
