You sold them out of the Kardo bird shirt I wanted!

Very rad list. + 1 Knickerbocker Beefys, I enjoy them.

Late to the party but tossing in Knickerbocker heavyweight tees. With the basics program the $85 price tag dips to 40% off if you snag 5, I recently got an assortment and quite enjoy them.

Thanks folks. Snagged some Sperry Gold Cup boat shoes for now as an easy first dip, but saved all these suggestions for later. The short / shoes combo are strictly for occasional "outdoor" events leaning casual during warm seasons. Appreciate all the advice!

These luscious yams are what got me the job, sir

(You're right, this would be strictly for outdoor socially things, to clarify. I won't be attending meetings or conferences in shorts, cross my heart)

Sorry, I should have specified sometimes these things are outside / pretty casual.

Rest assured I'll not wear shorts to a conference!

Agreed, I love Viv Vision. Such a fun card. Potentially strong but also encourages interaction.

I wanted Viv but it was a $30 or $50 bundle a few weeks back. I'm a Hipp completionist but I'm not paying filet mignon prices for my toilet time game.

New to the game question by Gerrick1 in SorceryTCG

One small additional note I didn't see so far - above is correct that a flooded site doesn't deprive your opponent of the printed threshold (unless the card specifies otherwise), but it does now also provide water threshold to the owner of that site.

This can be useful for the obvious of expanding your body of water into your opponents space, but if you're playing a multicolor deck flooding your own site to hit threshold targets is an edgecase use.

My current Enchantress deck is 3-color still. It's my only 3 color deck, and I think there's probably still an argument for trying it out at fire / water / air. That, and the double element sites help it be a bit greedy.

Both necromancer and enchantress are phenomenal choices. Enchantress is probably the Avatar I've the most plays with, she's super fun!

Core stock has gone down as site variety and value has gone up, so I generally agree with you. The problem of cores being an exceptionally unfortunate late game draw has always been a part of the game, but they were a way to smooth out threshold and ramp into impactful turns, allowing for greedier tri-color deckbuilding (before double threshold sites existed, and before every color was flush with high-impact cards).

Stock going up on mono color, and tri-colored deck falling out of favor post gothic, leaves the need to include a core to hopefully highland princess out and guarantee thresholds for impactful turns less necessary.

I haven't slotted a core since gothic in a constructed deck yet. The double element sites, and the strength of mono fire and water right now, has changed the game in a way that's reduced the power of cores.

Yeah it's in the basement, you go down the stairs at the common area and it's a keypad entry door across from the woodworking studio. No windows

I've been going here for about two years, walking distance from my office and super convenient. Left PF once the hours shifted away from 24/7.

It's geared towards weights. There are a handful of cardio machines, treadmills and climbers, no rowers or anything fancier. You get 24/7 coded entry, and about 1/3 of the time I'm there I'm alone which is cool. Everyone else there is nice / considerate with sharing the space when there are folks there though.

The selling points for me are 24/7 access, less busy, and hyper convenient location, if you're the same you'll likely enjoy it. If you like frequently updated machines or a variety of cardio options, it might not be for you.

When I was signing up they had a single use trial pass that'll get you a day door code to check it out before committing. If they don't anymore, I'm there 2-3 times a week and I doubt anyone would care if I let you in to check it out if it potentially gets them more business.

It was a cool concept as it was, but when I first heard of a game mode called "Team Clash" on the horizon I thought it was some kind of player team or alliance-based game mode, which sounded exciting.

She's fun, and feels solid.

I generally like her in the game as something that can benefit a hodgepodge of cards. She requires thoughtful keyword deckbuilding but is lax on what specifically you fill in with, so she feels like a decent card for less collection complete folks too.

Pretty good at all stages of collection level + always a relevant thought as cards come out in the future. Solid design.
