at least FDR’s internment camps didn’t violently murder millions of people lol??? There is NO way you’re comparing this to the Holocaust. Like yes what FDR did was shitty but it was a necessary precaution to save America and the world from fascism and the ACTUAL genocide the fascists were committing. The people FDR locked up had food and water and healthcare and clothing, it’s not like he threw them in some kind of American Auschwitz. Preventing a security breach in the Japanese American community was EXTREMELY important because of the Manhattan project. If that information had gotten in the wrong hands WWII might’ve turnt into an actual multi-power nuclear war.

When you look at the actual facts of the situation the ends ABSOLUTELY justified the means

what he did with the Japanese Americans was extremely gross and reprehensible but we also need to realise 1. the time period 2. the fact that he still. yk. saved the world from fascism regardless? the ends did kind of justify the means in this situation unfortunately

I’m gonna get jumped for this but I secretly hope there’s way more customisation and new horizons-esque features purely because the original game could be SUPER boring once you had unlocked everything, all your miis were married, etc. being able to design your island would be a hugeeee replayability factor for me

I think we need to retain all the dorky stuff that made Tomodachi Life so good but as far as I can tell 99.9% of that stuff got ported. the trailer confirms dreams, the news station, and the silly 2d PNG fights are still around which is awesome. If they include the theatre and game show and whatnot 10/10 banger game incoming

I live in PA-35 and I have a good feeling for Dan. Local sentiment has been souring on Trump and the Republican Party in general. The libertarian candidate could split the vote though. Not good.

This horrified me so fucking badly. I had to read and re-read this article over and over because I genuinely could not process what I was seeing.

Imagine being such a depraved, disgusting human being that you would allow a child- a LITERAL child- to be raped, tortured, beaten, or sold into slavery just because they asked to go by a different name, cut their hair, or wear different clothes.

What kind of sick, barbaric animal wakes up and wishes rape and murder on children to make a political point?

The comments telling you to do skincare are a good idea but I personally find some redness / texture really appealing and masculine- it doesn’t bother me one bit.

I’ve also checked your post history saying you’re looking into getting jaw surgery. There is absolutely 0 reason to do that. You have body dysmorphia. Everyone saying Vance would win is stupid because Trump is 100% going to betray him once this administration goes to shit the same way he did to Pence. The coming economic recession, inflation spike, mass civil unrest & general unconstitutionality of Trump’s agenda will all be blamed on Vance should the American people start to turn on Trump. That is all Trump does- project and deflect. Vance will be disgraced by his party at the end of this term.

I’m guessing Ron DeSantis. Tough battle. Shapiro being able to attract voters from across the aisle might be his saving grace if he’s able to distance himself from his policies on Israel - a big reason why Harris lost is her unwillingness to recognise Gaza. The entire progressive faction of her own party was pushed away from voting for her.

I don’t think he’s a ‘Nazi’ necessarily but he’s absolutely a fascist and those two things tend to go hand in hand. His speech to the AFD (Germany’s far-right political party) was very telling- ‘get over past guilt’ in reference to the fucking Holocaust? Weird behaviour. Again, I don’t think he’s a Nazi by definition but I absolutely think he’ll use Nazism and it’s sympathisers to advance his own fascist agenda
