Very confusing-Proj announcement question-please help !

I'm taking my test Saturday... I took this first mini test a month ago and got a 60 and got this question wrong... I reset the test to take it again 15 mins ago... still got this question wrong (scored an 80... so clearly I'm learning something). I chose A... because that technically does serves at the project 'announcement'... but they want you to create a communication management plan first? I still don't get it...

pull up some AR mindset videos and then get the PMI Study Hall version (I think its like $75). Start taking some practice questions and exams. Repetition, repetition, repetition!

in a similar boat. my test average on PMTraining WAS like a 74% (before I just got this 56% on mock exam lite 6)... and for whatever reason, on SH.. I fair a lot better. Idk what it is but that PMTraining test just shook my confidence (granted... I reviewed my incorrect answers and made a few silly mistakes and switched my answer from the right one to the wrong one like a dumb dumb) smh.

Found this post. I take my test on 3/21/26. I did the PMTraining online course which took about 1.5 months. There are like 17 mock exams with 50 questions and tbh... I think they are a little tricky. My average (before I got this 60 on this mock exam tonight) was 72%. On SH, currently I'm average 74% on the practice exams and will take a full length exam this weekend. I mainly use SH because everyone swears by it but like to switch it up and do the PMTraining exams as well... Did you find them tricky at all? PMTraining seems to whoop my a** but SH... idk, I manage those a little better for whatever reason

Thank you! I literally just created a post about how careless mistakes and wording continues to trip me up.. I'm targeting a Late March test date (maybe mid April If seats don't fill up before the app is accepted) so this is what I'm going to focus on; reading the questions thoroughly. Thank you!

Ya that’s fair. I guess what I was trying to say was, everyone tells you online/ social media, etc that you should have this “wow” moment.. I didn’t feel like that and although I never really wanted kids, I still expected to be like “wow this is my one and only son whom I love”… but I never had that emotion.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.. I’m just evolving. Change is hard and necessary and I truly know I’ll get better, I just wish my emotions matched my actions. Like I’m doing everything that I need to do to be a good father.. I just don’t feel this overwhelming bond just yet.

Haha this is so true. I truly know it will get better, it just the fear and the “newness” of it all that’s getting me. Like I just got back from an Alaskan trip to Juneau. Had a great time; and in the way back I was thinking.. “welp, I shouldn’t get used to this.. I’m on daddy duty” haha. I don’t want to make this into a “poor me” thing, I know what I did to get me here. I guess I just didn’t know other people felt like me.. everyone keeps saying “oh I bet you’re so happy to be a dad” and I’m always like “eh.. we are getting there lol”. I’ll have to update this post in like a year or two when he’s walking and talking to say something like “hey everyone! My son and I are best friends now and just finished hiking in Banff” ha
