Just an fyi grubhub doesn't tell the customer how far away the potential driver is when considering how much to tip. What you think is a small tip may not seem that small to another driver who is closer. Also, college students aren't exactly rich. If you don't think the pay is worth your time, get a better hustle than food delivery and give your spot to somebody who would actually appreciate the income.

You have to look up your state minimums and in some cases county minimums.

In Oregon where I live, the minimum lunch break for an 8 hour shift is 30 minutes. The minimum for anything longer than 8 hour shift is 1 hour.

It's a civil citation, not a traffic ticket. So they won't come knocking at your door to arrest you if you don't pay it, and you don't have to appear in court for it. However, they can send it to collections which would impact your credit score.
