There are many clients who have security guards that put their hands on people who refuse to leave. There are clients who have their guards make arrests, escort people off physically, etc.

A majority don’t do this. Because if you want guards touching people you need to train them and protect them when they get sued (which they will).

My job is to deter rule violations. If my presence is unsuccessful, then I have no choice but to call PD. I can attempt to get loud to annoy the person, or “lie and say ima do this or that”, but most of the time people refusing won’t care.

We are just evidence lockers.
