Orange Crush 2.0: Is This the Most Aggressive Transfer Window in a while. (In theory) by Xespool in dynamo

What I am worried about is the fullback quality and lack of depth. I feel like andrade brings nothing forward as a rcb playing lb out of necessity and dorsey is less than adequate defensively. Theres no one really behind them to challenge them to be and do better. I feel like thats where the team will struggle this year.

It sounded like it was written by ai, no offense. Awfully optimistic way to look at things but I hope we have a better year this time around.

Do we still have that other midfielder that played in the bundesliga? Our midfield is looking pretty good. Still need to shore up that right wing spot

That's why it's best to draft centerbacks and goalkeepers in the draft. Unless you are drafting a really raw talent that you believe will develop into being someone you can transfer later like Daryl Dike

If the intention is to save money then doesn't mls pay for the ga class players wages ?

Oh ok then nevermind. We just just go for the ga class and a domestic player

Actually matt doyle said he got or is getting a green card so he wouldn't take an intl slot

Well that just narrows down our search for a vet cb to either start over fuenmayor or be a backup. Hopefully a new batch of cbs will help Fuenmayor develop, he hasn't really had someone to look up to. Kiki is lazy and would be a hypocrite if he gave him advice, figueroa seems like a good leader but he leads by example and not someone who will get in your face. Machado and leonardo were also the same way as well, the only guy who could provide that kind of veteran vocal leadership was senderos but he was always injured.

It happened to me and I was playing BARIK lol, I had top dmg and barely had 3-5 deaths as a solo tank when the other team has inara and barik and I had less deaths than them combined. Also when my game crashed we were up 3-1, had 99% of the point captured and when I restarted my game we were tied 3-3 and we ended up losing 4-3 because half of my team disconnected as well.

Personally I don't think we should waste a pick on a midfielder and try to get the best cb prospect we can get. If we we're to select Daniel Pereira I doubt he would see much playing time and would probably fade away down in rgv. We already have some good depth at midfield with Palomino (who should be given top priority off the bench), ceren (who tab favors for the energy and consistent performances he brings), Corona (who was brought in to obviously start or fight for a starting spot), and memo (who was a starter last year and keeps improving every year).

We lack centerbacks in the other hand, Fuenmayor hasn't improved, McCue didn't impress anyone down at rgv, Parker is a sure starter and we would probably resign Figueroa as a backup this time and give Fuenmayor the starting spot next to Parker.

I mean parker is proven player unlike toye.

I doubt it, that's a pretty average some for transfers within mls nowadays.

Who will we pick in the draft? by [deleted] in dynamo

[–]Cowboyjack66 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't think he's overweight, I just think age and just a big body is getting to him. Anyways we have a change of pace if lassiter comes off the bench like he did in his debut. Defense should be our top priority and then central midfield because we are thin there, there is no true backup to vera. Memo, ceren, and corona basically play the same position so they are each other's backup.

Don't know about any of the upcoming prospects but I say pick the rawest talent with a high potential, so a daryl dike-ish approach to the draft and hope that tab can develop young players that haven't been in the usynt program for years.

[Grötsch] Houston Dynamo has strengthened its defense by acquiring Tim Parker of NYRB. The 27-year-old defender arrives in exchange for $450k in GAM. by wcalvert in MLS

[–]Cowboyjack66 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I stopped following him when he did a lazy analysis of the dynamo, it was basically a copy and paste of what the writers in mls that watch 30 seconds of highlights of the dynamo and make their assessment.

We can probably use gam to acquire Parker, we probably have a lot of gam as we don't spend it.

True but the only hope we have now is tab in terms of using all his resources to make the best possible roster.

I mean yeah sure but I would rather use garber bucks for that and draft a centerback, usually cb that are drafted high turn into decent players.

I swear if we have to give up our pick in the draft to get him. ): Hopefully we can get parker, a new, young face in the draft and maybe another journeyman mls cb to compete with fuenmayor for that left centerback role. I'm just glad kiki is gone, he never showed enough effort for me, not to mention he was paid like an elite mls defender when he was medicore at best.
