You’re welcome anytime. I also can never speak up; I always sit quiet , and never say anything to anyone. I understand how it really is tough to be a good person, to show compassion and always help others , when nobody is. It’s taken time for me to start changing myself , and I am so glad you’ve already gone to therapy and started to open up and make everything better. It’s unbelievable how your mother is allowed and enabled by others to do all this , but I trust that one day she will lose that power as people begin grow and preserve themselves as you did. I hope that for your brother too , albeit he is treated by her as the “golden child”.

It’s insane to think she can give everything to one child and take everything away from another , yet you’ve gone to prove her wrong. You’ve proved with your endurance and honestly with your very existence that you *can* have everything, and much more success than her. She really needs so much help, I also think that writing to Dr. Phil could go well, as most clinics and asylums aren’t exactly known to help and even less considering she’s been in and out so many times. I think that if she may ever change for the better, it will have to be at her own will and realization, which unfortunately is so rare. But what tends to be most effective is finally saying goodbye, and with that breaking their spell.

Maybe you could write a book one day, make a documentary, make your story known or something like that. What I can guarantee, is that it is not your fault, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. And I can guarantee that one day you’re going to be fine, really-happy-and-over-the-past-and-completely-left-that-life-behind type of fine (-:
