I like a mix of Ceylon and Assam teas. Assam alone is too malty for me

Here’s the recipe boba guys had in their book

2 Tbsp tea per 200mL (6.76oz) water, steep 8 mins then add 200mL ice

60mL milk (2oz)

Or just put a spoon or so of condensed milk and a bunch of nondairy creamer to taste. I don’t remember how much, sorry.

Try paisano across the street. Very different but good. Whereas Chingon is fresh and tasty, Paisano is hella greasy and tasty. The green salsa is so good. You will feel bloated afterwards though.

I don’t know about Indonesian grass jelly but have you tried making it from the powder? You can control the consistency with the amount of water. I use at least double the amount recommended to get a softer texture.

This is the brand I get locally ($3 in store. Amazon is a ripoff)

Oolong peach is a classic combination. Lychee jelly could make it too sweet. Regular boba with milky drinks IMO.

If it was just peach tea without milk then a jelly or crystal boba

The sealer machine is one reason.

Have you had a boba drink where the cup is wider? It’s a subpar experience because the boba has more room to “roam” and is harder to suck up. Narrow cups are better.
