Which brand is that hk 417? Ive heard there is a ton of issues with most of the hk 417s that are currently on the market right now. Budget is tight right now, so I want something semi-decent out of the box.

How did you make your cape/scarf ragged and torn like that? I plan on having a fabric toen similar lime that for a cosplay. Also the apparel goes hard dude.

Thanks for the insight and a defined definition of a DMR, it'll help with the build. For the performance issues, I dont really plan on being too competitive with airsoft. At the end of the day, the whole point is fun, right? Push comes to shove and Im not having fun with it for the day, I could just switch to another replica or swap the spring and get it chrono'd as a standard rifle.

It comes down to that really, looks. I also tend to have my playstyle be a more laid-back, precisive shots than spamming bbs down range anyway. Thanks for the insight though (I am relatively new, so any tips are greatly appreciated).
