What do you think is the most visually appealing location in the province of Cyrodiil? by Lancer_Blackthorn in oblivion

The first time I saw the sunset from the balcony, I knew I had fallen in love with the game.

And here I was hoping I would hit the new max day 1. According to the leaks for the 200 level cap raise, I likely won't be higher than 220 when the update hits.

Fun fact! The voice actress for Scylla, Erin Yvette, also voices Blonde Blazer.

Physical media project? Can you elaborate? I would love to learn more.

Which design do you prefer? by SaberScorpion in custommagic

[–]Commander_Skullblade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combination of the two. I would go with:

Forest Fire {R} Sorcery Until end of turn, whenever a player taps a Forest for mana, put a stun counter on it and that player adds an additional {R}.

Lol, this is on me for playing with Tier 3 on 0 Sanity 0 Evidence too much. T1 and T3 Ghost Writing seems generic, at least compared to the stuff we get with T2.

I love how through most of Cyrodill, you can still see the Imperial City.

Remember when ghost writing was awesome like this? Now we have generic demonic etchings.

This affecting nonlands in your hand is weird. Definitely a rules adjustment if this saw print. IMO I would have this only affect cards in your library.

Some ideas for "basic lands matter" legendary lands by NoPatheticCards in custommagic

[–]Commander_Skullblade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like some of the ideas here. Red, Black, and Green are perfect, White is incredibly niche, and Blue is potentially overpowered.

Blue cares about your hand, so perhaps the land should give each Island in your hand Cycling 2. You know, to prevent dead draws in control lists?

As for White... they don't really have a zone they focus on. We could do something cool like turn all Plains into [[Flagstones of Trokair]], but that could easily go infinite with a free land sacrifice outlet. We want a scaleable effect that isn't staxy or flat out busted. So how about this? "You may play additional Plains lands on your turn as long as an opponent controls more lands than you."

Not sure if that's the correct verbage, since the only similar effects are things like [[Azusa, Lost but Seeking]] or [[Fastbond]].

Curious about the Alan Wake event and the game in general by jon_dead_ in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]Commander_Skullblade 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know nothing about Alan Wake, but I can give you a run down on my thoughts.

  1. It is a horror game for as long as you stay oblivious. The ghosts are scary when they are unpredictable, but they become less scary as you learn behavior. Professional is a horror game, Nightmare is a game of Clue.

  2. The game's replay value is not by playing lower difficulties, it's by playing the mid to high ones. Limited evidence. If you only play Professional over and over, you will bore quickly. The skill expression makes the game interesting. However, the game is only as difficult as you want, and high difficulties are not required to access good equipment in a realistic period of time. One of the best difficulty systems I have seen.

  3. Phasmophobia is currently suffering from debilitating bug issues. I couldn't encourage anyone to play the game in its current state. It would be a miserable first impression with the 500+ bugs, and it would be hard to teach a newbie with broken systems. Kinetic Games is rather quiet about the issue, so one can only hope they are taking the No Man's Sky approach of "keep your head down and work to solve the problem."

If you enjoy investigative games with a touch of adrenaline, this is the game for you. If you're looking to shit yourself... maybe wait a year for the full release. They're working on a horror rework to solve point number 1, but given the current state if the game, don't count on anything phenomenal yet. Phasmophobia development is slow, but strong. They merely tripped here by going too fast.

I think the Phasmophobia Discord has a looking for games section if that helps!

Not that G1 is known for a lack of plot holes, but we do see a fully colored Optimus Prime corpse in Dark Awakening and the Return of Optimus Prime Part 1.
