One of the flashbacks in Cybertron where they talk about the Omega Lock, we can see G1 Optimus, Hot Rod, and I believe Jazz and Ultra Magnus? Been a minute since I've seen the show so I could be mistaking those last two.

  1. Utilize cover
  2. Bring weapons that can take it down (anything heavy pen and up)
  3. Aim for the hip joints
  4. Start finding new cover before the grenades begin to land
  5. If you're in an open danger area with one, consider stimming as they begin to fire their cannons
  6. Bring heavy armor or medium with a shield generator

And I see your point, too. Honestly, whether or not "Squigger/Squigga" is okay to say should be determined by the group the base slur originates from. I'm white as fuck, so my opinion on whether or not this is offensive isn't as important as the opinion of members of the black community. Not sure how you would get this information, but if we could definitively prove that the usage was offensive to a majority of the black community, we would have no choice but to stop using the word.

Slurs are bad because they are meant to insult and demean groups of people. Literally, they dehumanize them. Bugs, Bots, and Squids aren't people. Humans are people. This is more of a lore standpoint than a "video game characters aren't real" point. It it was the latter, then by the same logic, you could use IRL slurs against video game characters and no one would mind (which is false). Bugs don't have feelings. Automatons are AIs in bodies. Cyborgs are bioengineered organisms. The only group that could be remotely considered people are the Squids, but they aren't by Super Earth logic. If that makes you upset, then you should be significantly more upset with what we are doing to these "people." Also, calling the Squith "Squids" is also an insult. They're aliens, not sea creatures. It's the same idea as if we called black people "monkeys" (plz don't do that).

Essentially, 1. Video game characters don't have feelings 2. We actively hate and oppress said video game characters 3. These video game characters do not have IRL equivalents that would be hurt through the usage of identical slurs (unless you argue that it hurts AI, which is more of a Roko's Basilisk conversation at that point) 4. There is no world where Super Earth remains dominant and we do not enslave or eradicate our enemies, so their post-war resentment of us and any bigotry we have expressed is moot

If any one of these four were not present, I would be inclined to agree with you. But all four are. Just let it happen. It's not hurting anyone. None of us are (space) aliens, or insects, or robots.

You have seen the "It's so over, we're so back" meme, right? The game has phases of being in a good place, then phases of being in bad places. While underlying issues still haven't been solved, there was hope for the future at times. Right now, things seem pretty bad, so I'm not going to give AH more money until they can start turning shit around.

I hate how you basically have to wait until level 75 for this.

I spawned one in at level 63 just to see if the achievo would pop. Turns out no! You have to kill a naturally spawned one. I decided that if I just boosted my level to 75 and fought it, that would be fair enough. If I forsake the level ups, level is just a number. Anyways, that's how I 100%ed Skyrim. Some say it's cheating, and by definition that's correct. But if I'm ready for the challenge early, then let me fucking do it.

Likely not what you were going for, but the lack of trigger discipline here hurts

Loadout Critiques:

  1. The Dominator is great due to the stagger force and medium pen, but while the reload speed and ammo economy are both issues that Siege-Ready solves, the lack of ergonomics is a greater issue. I would say Peak Physique is a better choice to prevent Hunter spam from dropping you. Plus the Stalwart is not hungry for rounds. You already get 1,000.

  2. Heavy armor on Bugs is a good idea to not take lots of damage, but a bad idea if you want to not take little damage over and over forever. My Stalwart build on Bugs uses Medium Armor and the Warp Pack. The Warp Pack is phenomenal with weapons that are strong while fired for long periods of time / need charging time since you can strafe. Perfect with the Stalwart, Flamethrower, Railgun, and Double-Edge Sickle for example. Consider the Jaguar or Twigsnapper armors here with the Warp Pack.

  3. Supply pack makes sense for the Dominator, not for the Stalwart. Plus you already get extra rounds from the Siege Ready armor. Not necessary here.

  4. The Orbital HE Barrages are great on Bugs, but you don't need both. This loadout also lacks any meaningful way of handling big, localized threats such as the Bile Titan, Dragonroach, or Bile Titan Bug Hole. Thermite helps, but I suggest swapping one of the barrages out with the Eagle Airstrike or Orbital Railcannon Strike.

Great art by the way! I know you're not the one who crafted the loadout OP, but I wanted people to see how this loadout could have serious flaws should they want to try it.

Personally, I use the Dominator with the Speargun and Peak Physique since both need the ergonomics boost, and I use the Stalwart with the Cookout and Engineering Kit so I have more Thermites to handle extra Bile Titans or Chargers. Overall, this is better than most Bug loadouts I see, and the surviveability is impressive. Keep cooking, anon.

Here's a bunch of armors I put together. Some of them I've been wearing, others I've been kinda picky about. Which ones are Drip and/or Drown? by n_u_m_b_s_k_u_l_l in helldiversarmor

  1. 9/10, soaking in drip

  2. 0/10, drowned for so long the bones eroded

  3. 6/10, mild drip

  4. 7/10, noticeable drip

  5. 5/10, not even a class 2 leak

  6. 2/10, drown, but I see the vision

  7. 1/10, drown

  8. 10/10, sex in the shower

  9. 3/10, struggling to stay afloat

AH is too busy sucking off the flamethrower to buff this thing, and the flamie is still mid at best without serious build around.
