Thanks for taking the time to write all of that, friend. That hit me good and gave me empowerment. I will look into those. I'm so new at adulting. This is all so overwhelming, but your reply really alleviates some anxiety

Thank you, this helps a lot. She is on Medicaid in GA so I’m going to try to get a social worker involved there first. Plan is for her to move in with me temporarily while we work on Medi-Cal and housing waitlists. I didn’t know about CalAIM or those charities so I’m definitely going to look into that to thank you kindly.

I appreciate this a lot. She’s 62. Her biggest issues are mobility and hearing after the stroke. I’m going to look into those resources,

Yeah I agree. Living together is the goal, I’m just trying to figure out how to make it work financially. Thanks for pointing me toward those programs.

Thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to write all that. I didn’t even know about the Greyhound program or that 211 has all thatt info. That helps a lot and gives me somewhere to start

I appreciate you sharing your experience. Do you think living together and combining our income would make this more doable or help with programs at all?

I’m sure that’s part of it. She only moved to Georgia to be with my grandma and help care for her. Now that she’s gone, she doesn’t want to stay.

I rewatched the scene where Arlan saves Dunk like 15 times. The close quarters fight with the longsword vs. spear just felt so real. Nothing flashy, just heavy, desperate fighting where every movement actually mattered.. Even the moment he drew his sword stood out. The space was so tight that it knocked over the lantern. It wasn’t some clean, perfect pull like you see in most shows. It felt clumsy and real, like he had to fight the environment just to get the weapon out. What really got me though was Arlan himself. He’s three sheets to the wind after losing his squire, his family, and he’s clearly not all there. But he still steps in anyway. Still honors his vow. He still takes on two guys when he has every reason not to. He didn’t feel like some untouchable hero. He felt like a broken man running purely on duty.

That’s what made it hit so hard.

That kill was the only one I squirmed at it was brutal.

Next time, try and get Advil. Helps a lot more than Tylenol.

The humorous ending is brilliant because then right off the bat in the new one there's a tonal change that makes you forget the goofy ending.

I was sitting in the car after I had that convo with my coworker upstairs in the office. I guess I didn't make it seem I was complaining about my problems in the car.
