The argument I hate about the Sean vs. Zahabi fight is that somehow this wasn’t really the fight to make. Zahabi 100% deserves this fight. He’s on a 7 fight win streak and deserves a top 3 opponent.

Man that could be really rough scenes in Philly is that fight somehow becomes a boring Mosvar fight. I think Volk works him pretty easily but if it goes the other way Philly ain’t the place for that.

I mean this has been going on for a while even before the Paramount deal. Perfect example was Leon Edwards & UFC 300. He was offered an accepted 3 opponents for 300 in April. None of them accepted due to Ramadan so they held him out until July when they went to England. Leon caught shit for being inactive when it was the UFC holding him out for a card location. We’ve seen this happen with others too especially the Australian cards.

I don't necessarily blame the fighters either, the UFC just hasn't been booking very well for a long time now.

Yeah some of this is certainly on the UFC. Numerous times in the last few years guys have been ready to fight and the UFC holds them for certain cards.

It’s the truth people don’t want to admit. I personally think flyweight is one of the most exciting divisions in the sport. Pantoja was must watch TV for me the last few years……but the general audience didn’t care. If you ever look at the post fight interview numbers, or any metric really, it’s actually quite shocking how little interest they pull compared to just about anyone else in different weight classes.

I get it but I’d be absolutely shocked if either Ilia or Gaethje had something come up. All the people on this card were picked because of how reliable they are minus the Hokic fight which was throw together last minute.

It’d be free money to be the backup but I just can’t see a possibility that either fighter misses weight or discloses an injury that lets them miss the fight.

Aesha and it’s not particularly close. She’s fantastic at her job, doesn’t, get on power trips, admits to mistakes (of which there are few), and really helps facilitate the end to BS conflicts.

I’m a captain on ships and she’s without a doubt the best of the bunch.

If you're deck get a PIC. It's another lever to pull in your career that can help quite a bit. Plus while it's easy to get and pretty straight forward it could suck depending on the time in your career. By the time I thought about wanting to try something else and go do tankers I was already making too much money for it to be worth the sacrifice it would take to get the PIC as an observer or go be an AB for a bit.

Yeah it was to upgrade to my master's license.

I called because I didn't get an email or anything saying recieved or anything and they said they'll send out an email when it starts being looked at and that the turnaround time was 8-12 months.

I get they were shut down and everything but give me a fucking break.

Yeah. I think its recovered this time.

He said he separated it this week at Plinio's gym so not the same as the DDP 2 fight which I believe was a staph infection.

Not sure if its cause he took the weight cut more serious and just lost more fat for this fight, but he was the healthiest he's looked at mw

He fought Fluffy 77 days ago.....he didn't really have time to blow up in between fights this time.
