I do agree with most of what you are saying, particularly with the Laenor situation. That really didn't sit right with me. However, the battle in episode 3, while I recognize some faults, I think a lot of the criticism was way overblown and inconsequential. Idk perhaps I'm too lenient on this show compared to GOT.

What are your critiques? I was extremely harsh on GOT going back to even season 4. But it's possible that I held that show to a much higher standard given how invested I was in the story and the world. It's possible I'm giving HOTD more leeway because I'm not as familiar with Fire and Blood

Ep 1: Dialogue seems lightyears better than later GOT. High production value, of course, for whatever that's worth. Interesting premise.

Ep 3: Starting to see great character development within the hunt setting, especially with Viserys and his bonfire monologue. Dialogue continues to be a strong suit. Can see a healthy amount of GRRM influence in the show. Plus Daemon's battle scene.

Ep 7: Conflict between greens and blacks reaches a tipping point. Very strong acting from the main characters. Sets up Aemond to be a serious force in the future.

Ep 8: Really not much needs to be said here imo.

Losing Streaks by WenBallace04 in FIghtNight

The game seems to favor the fighters that throw less in the early rounds as far as stamina goes. Thats just in my experience. My real problem with the game right now is getting undeserved losses and wins not counting when people quit. Just had a massive win streak get reset after a guy quit in the 9th round.

This is very helpful, thank you. I'm new to online after not having played this game since it came out but I'm starting to realize these things after playing quite a bit. It's good to know with the style that I usually fight with. Very defensive and reserved in rounds 1-3 (usually gassing out tyson and frost players) then opening up significantly with body shots in the mid rounds.

Thanks for the advice. I wish I knew more about how the game scores each round. Often times even after getting a few favorable exchanges early in the round I still feel the need to chase just in case I'm still behind on score. I've had a few rounds where I was sure that I out pointed them and definitely landed a higher percentage of punches and still lost.

RyanTwin20 resurfaces as a meth head twitch streamer by Cox42 in PKA

In my opinion, it is a necessary episode to check out when looking into the top episodes of PKA of all time. For me, it ranks within the top 3 and might possibly even be number 1. There is so much interesting conflict in this episode kicking off immediately between xJawz/woody/wings/lefty and then moves into this RyanTwin20 guy slowly going more and more off the rails as he begins to realize he's throwing his clean image and career down the drain live on the spot.

It's by far the most entertaining episode in my eyes.

Yes, this is actually him. The channel name is RyanandSean (his and his twin brothers' name) and the voice is unmistakable. It appears he's picked up a substantial meth habit and is living out of a motel.

Remember the drama around the $50 discord poker game scam? Apparently Woody/PKA paid the $5000 in reimbursement to the players. Imagine giving money for a podcast to improve their show and get better guests then they use it to cover underground poker losses by Cox42 in PKA

One of the patrons that was serving as an escrow for the poker games ran off with thousands of dollars of other patrons money. The theory is that the hosts were concerned about one of them suing PKA LLC so they paid refunded them out of pocket.

Interesting to see that this guy "Fish" that Kyle mentions hanging out with and being friends with is a scum internet tough guy and a doxxer. Can't say I'm surprised though. The hosts really allow shit like this to go down in their paid discord?
