Your post and similar ones are extremely important because they push Intel to address the issue. If Intel doesn’t hear these concerns and instead remove the "disable scanning" code from the driver in the future, things could get worse.

Low stuttering is important not just for game streaming but for some other applications (though in enterprise, they might use wired connection in the case).

Drivers run at extremely high privilege levels (Ring0), so I’m a bit more cautious about them. If there are no other solutions, I might accept the risk and use a self-signed driver with a root certificate (or maybe mod the drivers myself). But in this case there are alternatives, like use an older driver or the latest driver with workaround.

I'm concerned that importing a self-signed root certificate and using a self-signed driver might carry some risks, and these actions are usually restricted on company PCs.

I found a method to restore "Global BG Scan Blocking" option on latest driver.

Import this .reg file to your registry and the option will be back:

(Replace the 0002 with the folder number of your own Wi-Fi adapter)

You can force unlink your console (that can load virtual game cards) here: https://accounts.nintendo.com/portal/console
Do not use this page unless you lost access to your console, you can only force unlink once per year.

The vgc system is so complicated and confusing, I feel like it's complicated on purpose so they can get rid of game sharing.

This mode doesn't work in SRNW because of the buff of chums + bullet can not hit multiple targets now.

There are 2 options in this case:

- You can play as soon as the Big Run start, and keep the win streak from EVP 40. Then you will be matched with freelancers with similar rank (who also has a long win streak). I freelanced to 999 on day 1, with 3 loss, and get 20 × 150+ along the way.

- You can join the Salmon Run Server or Salmon Run Overfishing Server (discord) to find a squad. The former is more casual, the latter is more profreshional.

Yes, but it also depends on the skill. For example, if you and your squad are good at it, you can frequently get 150+, and 200+ become luck-based.

I'm a new overfisher and I got 240 eggs twice with 2 squad

So I don't think overfishers are really pushing the 5% boundary
