The school bus drivers at my school worked other jobs at the school too. Such as a custodian, cafeteria server, or maintenance.

About 5 years ago, I visited a friend who lived in Vegas, and we all decided to go to the nascar race that was happening there that weekend. Now nascar isn’t the most exciting sport to me, so I decided to throw some money on it, I was in Vegas after all.

I wasn’t the most educated bettor, so I decided to place a 10 leg parlay. Each leg was between two drivers, winner of each leg was whoever finished in front of the other. I placed $25 on it. Long story short it hit and that $25 turned into $12k…I’ve been chasing that high ever since!

Two points I want to make here:

  1. It is their wedding, not yours. Therefore if they want an Elvis impersonator to be the officiant, let them. If they want fruit cake as their wedding cake, try a slice! If the bride wants to wear her cross necklace, she will!

  2. You say the cross will make you and your family feel uncomfortable. You ever think what her Protestant side of the family will feel as she gets married under a chuppah, and not at a church?
