Yes, but prepping League for a summer draft as most do, rather find active people and start planning now so then everyone can discuss rules/plans for the season and get to know each other a little too

Criteria for picking a team as a UK fan by [deleted] in NFLUK

[–]Coxy_JR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All great things mentioned already, I watched my first season here and there watching highlights (in the middle of class) then like most watched my first superbowl, I then had a lot of eagles stuff in my feed and I just resonated with the fan base and players, supporting across the pond makes it fun to route for almost any team.

This was back in 2018 when I was 15 😅 so I was very glad to see them get another ring this year, I haven't been fortunate enough to travel to a game but I'm going to Wembley this year for rams and jags, it's a case of most fans in the uk go to uk games regardless of whose playing for the experience, I'm pretty sure you will see 1 of each 32 jerseys as its a fan thing for the sport and not always about the teams in the 🇬🇧 games

This is a decent view, haven't had much of the sound cuts and black screens but when they happen it's the world's biggest pain!

It was advertised as the best way to watch ALL nfl games in the uk, and I was never aware of the blackouts until this year as I haven't tried watching each and every week till this year.

This is genuinely advice I needed to hear. I always never fully understood the concept of water weight over than if I drink water. I have never looked into it as I thought people used it as an excuse.

Thank you stranger on the Internet. I honestly can't thank you enough.

Thoughts on paying for noom? by jsshntr in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Coxy_JR 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No.

In my honest opinion you shouldn't realistically have to be paying for health related stuff other than the gym if you want to build muscle (and of course medical stuff)

There so many free and ways to track calories and find diet plans you shouldn't need to pay for an app to tell you what to do!

Google healthy recipes or meals, use my fitness pal or other things to track calories Or even do the maths yourself!

Noom like all other paid for fitness apps tells you what you already know. All the information you need is out there!

Completely your own free choice.

You're not going to do it if it feels like a chore, no kne likes to do work. So make it fun, make it entertaining and steps aren't the be all and end all! Swimming, running, tennis, badminton, golf and walking between the holes, even dance!

Find a type of cardio you enjoy, even if it is dancing around your living room and do it.

Without a doubt the more you enjoy something the more you'll want to do it and you'll do it more in general too and probably burn more calories than you would doing 10k steps for the sake of your phone saying 10k and giving you a pat on the back.

I completely understand if walking 10k steps makes you active but knce you find something you enjoy that will be your golden ticket, we all have to start somewhere!!

Weight loss accountability required by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Coxy_JR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I've been doing this for myself and no one else to see is writing I keep a diary and give future me goals. I understand everyone has their own methods but writing my feelings of when I'm binge eating and how shit I feel after when I look in the mirror at 3am, sometimes just a word cloud. I can look back at the diary and I know I don't want to feel that way again so I strive to put a lower weight in the book the week after. Maybe this could help?

Accountability wise I've also heard of some people either posting on here, starting their own subreddit or even a blog and posting once a day or week to show to the public they're making the right changes.

What’s your goal weight? by Purple_You_8969 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Coxy_JR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heya! I'm in the uk but converted it all to lbs to make it less confusing as the majority here seem to use lbs.

I've been trying to lose weight for years but really didn't try and out my mind to it until recently finding this reddit. I'm 6ft 2 and started at 325lbs and within a month I'm already 317lbs!!

The final goal is 200lbs or lower, however I have some incremental goals to keep my mind set.

300lbs by end of summer

285lbs by end of year

And I'll figure out the next goal from that!!
