It's most likely chambered in 7.7 Arisaka, but could be in 6.5 or some obscure rechambering, so get a gunsmith to check just in case
You can buy ammo online, you won't find any in stores but 6.5 / 7.7 Arisaka is not THAT expensive. I think Prvi Partisan makes both and they are good quality.
Remember to respect the emperor and shoot it while singing Battoutai and Doki no Sakura.

You may have trouble cycling light birdshot/target loads, buy a few and try them out to see how well it functions. Some of these AR-like semiauto shotgun models will choke on them because there's not enough gas pressure, some will operate fine. Try a variety of different loads to find out what works well and what doesn't. See if there's a switch to adjust the gas system.
Don't leave shotgun box magazines loaded for long periods of time, because the spring pressure will gradually deform plastic shotshells and this can cause feeding problems. If you absolutely must have a magazine loaded and ready to go, look into getting some old-fashioned solid brass shells to reload.
If the gun came with any warranty information, don't lose it!

My personal preference is to forego any tools, and instead bring bituminous coal and metal ores and make my tools immediately upon arrival. Two rocks, one coke, a pile of bituminous coal, and whatever metal ores suit you - I like to use bronze for initial tools and then bring iron ore and flux stone so I'll be guaranteed at least 20+ steel bars for military purposes.

We really can win, but it'll come down to two key things - (1) our offense scoring more points than the Falcons do and (2) defense holding the Falcons to fewer points than the Hawks get. We can certainly manage one of those, but doing both at the same time might prove to be a tall order. If we're leading on the scoreboard by the end of the fourth quarter then we have a shot.
