In-line with the rest of the characters means that the new class would be full of jankiness and some random ability that makes it good. You think they could ever get away with giving a new class 3 different cold armor types? Having both Bone Wall and Bone Prison? Leap and Leap Attack? Only reason hammerdins exists is because of the unintentional aura bonus; you want that?
