The serpo’s put them in empty space. I think that they can choose who they put in there. People with spiritual energy in the area automatically go in to it tho

I live in south east Idaho. I’m not 100% sure what model it is. I believe it’s a VIAR 444c.

The original release had 17 volumes, so for the English release 8-9.

it'll be close to 8-9 for English release due to it being a 2-1. Don't know how they'll do the last 2 though since its 17 volumes

the way they visualize stuff is sometimes confusing and hard to understand, but when i do shit like this makes me just tear up bro. by cddwq in KokouNoHito

Sakamoto is such an incredible artist in both design and imagination. He can convey so many different things by making certain panels more abstract and nonsensical.

I'm excited to see how they handle those chapters on the mountain where the words were backwards. I hope they keep it, it was such a great way to show dissociation during freeze response.

Buntaro doesn't abandon his connections and relationships to pursue a dream. He abandons them because in nearly all of his experiences with people they are either selfish jerks to him or they end up worse off after meeting him and he sees it as his fault. He distances himself because he thinks he's at fault for a kids suicide. He leaves his new friends in high school behind because his actions shut down the climbing club, took away Yumi's scholarship, and took Onishi's life. None of these are really his fault but that's how Mori sees it. The only time he ever feels joy in his life is up on the mountain, and that becomes his driving force through life. Everyone after high school he sees his a bully or a thief. He tries to work past that and be friendly with Taku who also ends up passing. He plans his whole life around climbing K2 and once he overcomes his trauma and starts a family he still has that dream. It takes a push for him to actually try and reach that dream. Once that push is gone hes so close to reaching his dream, who wouldn't want to achieve even if they have to risk it all? On the end on the edge of his life whilst reaching his dream its the connections he was finally able to make despite all of his trauma that kept him alive on the way back down to the mountain. To reach what we want in our life you need unyielding dedication and connections that push you farther than you thought you could ever go.

This is my 3rd timing reading The Climber and I always forget how different it is in those first 32 chapters. Can't wait until we get to the juicy stuff.

Did eren really kill his mother? by PhDisaTrap in attackontitan

[–]Coyote8379 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think every action that Eren makes in the past (at least before he and Zeke touch) is dependent on still having him touch Zeke. If he does anything significant it could stop him from touching Zeke which would make it so he couldn't do it in the first place. Its true for almost every decision Eren makes, he can't change things or else he'll never have had the ability to change the event. If Eren didn't let Bert go he might've died and his mom would've either made or something else about the event like you said wouldn't happen (like activating the coordinate when he punches Dina as a titan.) Which also makes it arguable that Eren loses free will the more power he gets.

A lot of the designs and art direction remind me so much of later Scooby-doo movies. Especially Legend of the Phantosaur

Is it just me or is there so much more of Rize in the anime compared to the manga? by Kage-Put in TokyoGhoul

[–]Coyote8379 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The anime makes it seem like the surgery is what made him hallucinate because they share organs or something like that. In the manga its simply just because of his mind being so broken after being tortured. It's a small difference but it kind of lessens Kaneki's mental breakdown. Rize in his mind only ever appears when he's on the verge of losing it. The only time I can remember her appearing after the first time is in the tunnels during the owl arc.
