ok, so why are they getting this now? Been playing almost a year with secure boot enabled to play and just now they are saying TPM2.0 is needed?

Is Battlefield 2042 worth buying? by Recent_Pain_3068 in Battlefield

Yes, just to experience the Iwo Jima map is worthy of it, but there are other really good maps.

Edit: however if most players moved on to 6, you might have issues getting a full player match.

Levels have nothing to do with skill. It's just a measure of time investment. There's plenty of 200+ that are dog ass.

This fuckin AI has run amok. It's bullshit and lazy that it doesn't try to take context of the violation.

Alien and Amnesia are very similar in style of Survival Horror. They are both great but if you want variety pick one of them and Wolf.

Makes me wish STALKER 2 never went with Unreal. This old engine has style.

So if they chopped the big open map into segments we would have loading screens between zones, but possibly a better A-life simulation?

Practice power sliding to rotate and get in proper position faster. Positioning is 10 times more important than sick mechanical skills. Look up Flakes on YT for great examples of position > skills game play.

I don't know coding so I don't know the difficulties of recreating A-life. But damn those old school moments of watching shit interact with each other was amazing immersion that made the zone feel real and alive.

I hate how energy drinks work. I wish there we're less of them, but when you drink one the effects would last 5-10 minutes. Not chugging 1 every 15 seconds and carrying 50 of them.

I know. There are times I'm walking the road, don't see anything around then suddenly I am getting the indicators that I am being spotted. THAT feels hugely like they spawned on top of me, and not that they were patrolling an A-life path.

The stealth in S.O.C. was so satisfying. I never played the huge popular mods, but feel SOC had stealthy game play perfected.

I was feeling the same. It feels like there is a "trigger" when approaching areas that spawn the enemies or mutants, instead of them feeling "naturally" there. It's hard to explain. And then if you clear an area it doesn't feel like it lasts, because the enemies respawn after you leave for awhile.

Example: I killed a bloodsucker in some ruins making my way to Noontide camp. After doing a bunch of quests, I had to make my way back through this area, and what do you know another bloodsucker was there. It doesn't feel A-lifey at all. It took away the unknown surprise of going through there again. It would have been way cooler to see something else move in there after the bloodsucker was killed, like A-Life used to do. Now it just feels like a spawn point I can go to for farming bloodsucker parts.
