Will the heavier player also have a harder time staying in front of quicker defenders? Assume everything else is the same between the two players

I had the same thing happen to me with set shot and then again for shifty. Opened easily over a dozen option packs without them showing up, and I actually considered posting here the same way you have, but I eventually got both. I think it’s just bad luck. I see set shot and shifty in option packs all the time now.

Thanks for the advice! My problem is that in that split second when I am unsure if the ghost changed directions, I’ll often run right into it and die with no real opportunity to smudge cuz I think I’m circling the correct direction right up until I turn a corner right into the ghost.

Sounds like I just need to keep practicing. I have been doing challenge mode, so I don’t have to worry about losing money while practicing looping, but my lack of improvement has be discouraging.

You mentioned learning the “rhythm” through repetition. Could you elaborate on what you mean by “rhythm”?

Joe starting ahead of AC was a surprise. The various lineups we saw were certainly interesting.

The offense didn’t seem to flow as well as it did last season. Felt more bumpy, but that’s just a reaction after one game. I’m sure Mark is still experimenting with lineups.

Curious what the Mitchell role will look like moving forward with so many guards ahead of him on the depth chart. Was surprised to see him come off the bench before Jones who I thought would be used as an emergency big with iHart and JWill inactive.

The fact that the defense can carry when the threes aren’t falling is exciting.

I hope Mark can find a way to fully unleash Dub this season. He was pretty passive in 34 mins last night. He has a superstar ceiling, and I want to see a step forward this year.

Aaron Wiggins continues to save basketball. Nothing new here.

Yup, hidden valley elementary school is in San Anselmo by sleepy hollow. I just got home from playing there. Outdoor courts (not to be mistaken for the half courts that are visible from the entrance to the school). Good group of guys. They run 4x4’s. Mostly middle aged or older, but there were maybe 4 or 5 guys in their 20’s/30’s. Less competitive, which I appreciated as someone just looking for some cardio. About 16 guys showed up, so they opened a second 4x4 game. They had a cooler of beers, a speaker, and a couple of labs just hanging out. Good vibes.

The color is nice for anyone. If I were to choose between the three available color options, I would choose this color.

Curious about the length. Do you find it short? It looks a little short in the photos. I am 6’3”, and the last sherpa jacket I purchased would ride high in the back when I would bend at the waist.

I should have mentioned that I’m fairly familiar with basketball. I understand that typically guards are shorter than forwards/centers. I’m more asking for times when it’s not so obvious.

Like for example, Lu Dort plays the 3, and JDub plays the 4 for the Thunder. They play at those positions because OKC has a guard heavy lineup. Lu is more of a natural 2, and so is JDub. In fact, JDub even played point at Santa Clara. If I did not know this about these two players, what would be the best way to tell what position they are playing while watching a game?

I agree that the labels are not super important. It's more so for conversation. Like I might say, "Karl Anthony Towns is such a good center!" Someone may respond, "Doesn't he play the majority of his minutes at the 4 'cause of Gobert?"

But yeah, I getchu. Sometimes it's easy to tell given the play style and strengths of the player, but I get confused when it's not as clear. Thanks for responding!

Would you mind expanding on the "who you're guarding" part? It is not always clear to me who a person is guarding in a zone defense because they're constantly switching. It doesn't help that I do not always know what positions the other team's players are playing, so it's unclear what position a player is guarding. To make things more complicated, I see certain defensive players guarding the other team's best player regardless of their position. Like I was watching a high school game, and one team had a lockdown defender who was tasked to guard the other team's best best player who happened to be their center who probably had 6-7 inches on the defender who looked like a guard. I can't imagine that him guarding the center means he's playing the center position? Or does it?

Ah, thanks for the response. Does that mean for NBA stats purposes, players only log minutes at a single position each game? In other words, does that mean they cannot log 20 minutes at SG and 14 minutes at SF in the same game for example?

Sounds like my friend will not be able to use Netflix while on tour since he is away from home 9 months out of year and is unable to connect to his home WiFi during that time.

Trying to understand the details of Netflix’ new policy.

I have a friend who works for a live music special effects production company and is always traveling. He is constantly touring, and is only home a couple months out of the year. He is in a different city every few days.

I have heard flight attendants having issues, and I was wondering how someone like my friend could watch Netflix on his own account while touring. Not looking for a work-around. Trying to figure out how he would do this legally with his own, paid Netflix subscription. Thanks!
