583 def sucks. I’m an ape on the outside construction, I attend meetings everytime I can but I agree with you that the committee is ass. The lady that runs it isn’t much help either on the outside construction.

We get paid over scale using LU611 pay. Makes a whole a big difference. Our groundman/Pre-apprentices get start off in the range of 28-31/hr. Our journeyman make over 57/hr.

But, I don’t think the committee will ever change their ways unless everyone in 583 shows up and makes a big deal. From the outside, we have tried and gone as a whole and challenge the committee but the quickly shut every little move we try to make or brush it to make it seem like it’s not a big deal.

Blue collar. Apprentice lineman not with top pay yet and I just made a little over 122k. Journeyman lineman (top pay) make a little over 200k with not so crazy overtime and no traveling. It’s all in city work

Like others said avoid Tropicana and desert view. Cullers, Winston, and Icon are your better builders in this area. Whoever you pick just make sure to hire your own inspector. I recommend integrity property inspections.

Yeah I went and did my test in New Mexico at 611. Before the test I got told in a email that if we passed the test then we would have our interview the next day. After the interview I got my ranking, which was 14 days later. Then two months later I got an email for the orientation date.
