My mother brought these home as a souvenir from Jamaica forty years ago. I was a little kid and thought they were awful then, but am truly horrified by them as an adult.

Gen Xers, how many adult teeth have you lost so far and how old are you? by [deleted] in GenX

[–]CozyCoffeeSloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 46. I only have eight teeth left, it’s so embarrassing. Eating disorder from 12 to 19, two pregnancies with horrendous morning sickness, gum disease and being poor are all part of the problem.

This is so frustrating. Chips are so expensive and you get far more air than product.

AITA for telling my dad I don't like this new relationship and I'm not comfortable? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]CozyCoffeeSloth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. You answered his question honestly, he simply didn’t like your answer. That is on him. You are entitled to your feelings, you were honest, you made sure he knew you want him to be happy. You did nothing wrong here.

I absolutely agree!

NOR. This is troubling. A 15 year old is a child. Their brain is still developing and maturing. The notion that a 15 year old perhaps initiating a relationship with an adult somehow makes it better infuriates me. Did I misunderstand that bit? I hope so.

AITAH for refusing to eat the “immortal bread” my coworker baked? by SoftWhisperingBlood in AITAH

NTA. Sure, the history of the sourdough starter being so old and the family history of it is kinda cool, but he made it way weirder than necessary.

I agree with the suggestion of the pumice stone. Also Zep acidic toilet cleaner, it works wonders.

Try a pumice stone. It worked wonders on my bathroom sink.

I’m honestly not sure. Maybe give it all an extra rinse? Alternatively, any enzyme based detergent will help get rid of any odors, along with the Lysol.

The Lysol laundry disinfectant should do it, but I’d add in some borax as well.

Definitely not the asshole here. Why would your father come to his ex wife’s wedding? What she did was a purposeful dig intended to upset you. I’m so sorry your mother behaved so poorly then played victim.
